Gazette ran an article stating that Morette's has been purchased and will be reopened.  Just goes to show that things ARE headed in the right direction in Schenectady -- even on the other end of Erie Blvd -- lots of people are jumping on the Schenectady bandwagon.   The RENAISSANCE continues.

Heard that, good news, hope they stick to the original way steak sandwiches were made before it started going downhill.

Oh my gosh, THAT'S OLD NEWS !!!!

It was in ALL the news media!

NO, do NOT go cheering or attributing this to your buddy dems.   This has been in the works LONG time.   THANK GOODNESS it's not taxpayer money.

People need to go to restaurants that pay taxes.

They are going to keep most of the Morette's menu and add a few of their own items.  Apparently, they have experience running food concessions at fairs and such.

As for the original recipe, the outcome of the recipe is only as good as the quality of the ingredients put in.  From what I experienced and what I heard from others' experiences -- the quality of ingredients was not the same in the last few years.

  From what I experienced .

Oh, we can find the post that you claim you ONLY eat healthy food.

I think we can find post(s) where you claim you don't go out to eat much, but if we took all the comments of going out do eat, it would probably show you eat out almost every day of the year.

And as far as YOUR claim that the food was not so good, well, obviously you have been proven wrong by the tons of people that went there when the closing was announced, such huge crowds, even the new downtown gin mills and restaurants have seen nothing even remotely close to it.  So many people thought the food was so very good, that they came from all over the place, drove further to go to Morrettes than the miles people travel to go to Proctors.

So incredibly popular with such good food that they ran out of it
