The same month ISIS allegedly beheaded Americans, The Saudi government beheaded 19 of their own people.  Some for drug trafficking and practicing black magic. Is that your definition of civilized world?  Those same Saudis that are helping the U.S. bomb ISIS?

If you want to call 4 planes "help"

Can't wait to see how many ground troops they commit to fight along side ours.

About as many as Israeli ground troops.

Haifa to Damascus is a 4 hour drive.  You would think they would the Israelis would play a larger role in eliminating these uncivilized people in their own backyard.

If that's how you see it... Then you could vote for his opponent who doesn't live anywhere in NY State.
She is a DC political hack who wrote legislation to cut Social Security.

Elise Stefanik was born, raised and educated through Grade 12  IN upstate New York.  Her family owns a business IN upstate New York.

As for Social Security, the system needs to be fixed.  I personally support personal investment accounts and other reforms that would encourage Americans to save and invest for their future and for retirement.

Yes.  I Agree.  She USED TO live in NY State, but now resides in DC.  Aaron Woolf LIVES IN NY STATE!

She LIVES in the district now. Her family lives in the district and has a business there.  She has more connection to the district than Woolf does.

Woolf's home is in Elizabethtown NY.  His daughter is in preschool there, his father is buried there...
and he owns businesses in NYC.

"Stefanik said perhaps the retirement age should be adjusted to reflect the longer life expectancy
of those 30 and younger."
"“I think we should have a discussion about raising the retirement age for future workers,” she said."

"Asked specifically if she agrees with Ryan’s age cut off of 55 and younger to no longer
receive traditional Medicare,
she said, “I’m going to take a good look at it. I have to study it first.”"

There is merit to raising the age when people can begin receiving Social Security since people are living longer and Social Security is meant to be a "safety net" and NOT the sole source of one's retirement income.

I would also urge that the income cap for paying into Social Security should be raised or eliminated altogether.

Finally, I would fully expect that a responsible Congressional representative would "take a good look at" and "study" ALL options on the table.  Unlike some representatives who have already made up their mind and refuse to discuss issues with their constituents or the WHOLE Congressional Democratic caucus who insisted on voting for the UNaffordable Care Act BEFORE reading it.

Woolf is just another sycophant, big money from NYC, extremist liberal -- like Todd Eldridge )now down 24 points against the BEST member of the House of Representatives - Chris Gibson)  and Paul Tonko.

Oh -- Stefanik is UP 13% and the Democrats' national fundraising committee for House elections has decided to divert $$$ from the Woolf campaign to races that it actually thinks it can win.

Yup! NY 21 is a Republican Swamp, full of Right Wing Militia GunHuggers, Rednecks, TeaBaggers and Birchers...
along with a lot of good hard working people.  For a Dem to win in this district all is needed is for the Dems
to turn out and vote.

You must work for Tonko or one of the extreme leftist politicians because you folks think it is just fine to insult the people that disagree with you and the places where they live.   Open your mind and your world view by actually ACCEPTING diversity -- not just playing lip service to it in speeches.

DIversity??? Oh we have "DIVERSITY".  Unlike most Sheriffs across the country, our RedNeck Sheriff says
he will ignore the laws, instead of enforcing them.
We have Diversity...  NY21 comprises some of the poorest counties in the state... yet some of our GOP
officials want to cut aid to the poor and give it to the rich.  Kind of Robin Hood in Reverse.
We could use with less of that type of diversity.

First, you can't deny that you were the one who referred to the region as a "swamp" and have disparagingly attacked people who happen to disagree with you on issues.   So obviously, you do NOT believe it is good to have a diversity of opinion.

Second, who is your "redneck sheriff" and which laws did he or she say that he or she would ignore?

Third, which GOP officials from the 21st District want to cut aid from the poor and give to the rich?

Retirement is NOT when the government tells you that you can retire, and that's if a person really wants to retire.....

they force you to take medicare at a certain age regardless of your own insurance
you're forced to file for your SS and you have a maximum income you can make if you still want to work or you 'pay them the fu(k back'

what kind of circus is that?

hello people...it's not free,,,,you're not free....they own your a$$ from birth to retirement and if they're lucky you die before you use
all that money....

SS was never meant as a 'sit back and chill we got that' retirement......however, 2 generations were 'water boarded' by political
rhetoric and stupid tag lines.....

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.
