Woman injured
in brawl
SCHENECTADY — A Tuesday evening fight on North Church Street sent one person to Albany Medical Center, police said.
The injuries, which included a bump to the head, were not described as serious, police said.
The victim, a 23-year-old woman, was attacked by five or six women just before 7 p.m. outside 9 N. Church St., police spokesman Lt. Mark McCracken said. She was treated at the scene by paramedics then taken to Albany for further treatment.
There was no description of the suspects, McCracken said, and the incident remains under investigation, with no arrests reported Wednesday.
