The (Republican) South Is Essentially A Solid Block Of Poverty

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

Don't forget DC.  Look at the poverty rate in the states surrounding DC.  Those federal employees and lobbyist take all that tax money and move to the surrounding burbs, as DC rots in poverty.  Like Rachel Maddow said, it those that care vs those that don't.  Those that work for and lobby the federal government don't care.  They line their pockets as they fleece the taxpayers.

I'm sure Rachel would purchase a home in schenectady, right on the hill....to make those folks believe that they are HER....

there will ALWAYS be poor...why? because humans DON'T all want a maytag, 5 bedroom center hall colonial, washer/dryer
3 flat screen tvs etc etc... WHY YOU ASK? because then you have to take care of the F'EN sh!t, insure the sh!t, maintain the sh!t
etc etc.....

the only obstacle is RISK....is the system set like a ponzi? sure...but the ponzi is equal pressure to all who wish to partake in
your utopia....Box, I'd like to visit your utopia that has no stress, no responsibility, no choice(except that which is given) and
basically a mind blowing meditation state where war(no matter what) is called patriotic and right......

the value of money is the work involved to obtain it, NOT what it can buy, hence, wants drive a person to obtain it, if you don't
really want it you try to attain it....and some people are much more ingenious to obtain the money to fill their wants...even if
it means 'Breaking Bad'......

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

Ummm...Well..ah...Isn't that where that benevolent caring federal government is head quartered?  sh*t...They print a lot if the money right in DC.  I actually witnessed the government counter fitting myself.  You would think that would be the most prosperous city.  You know, since large government makes everything better and takes care of everybody's "self interests".lol

Poverty in the south???  And cissy's response again is...
"Look over here. Don't pay any attention to poverty in the south...
I saw them printing money in DC!  That's the real story
"!!!

Look over here?  I looked at your map, and DC shared the same poverty statistics as the south.  Why do you ignore your own statistics?  I understand you tailored you your argument to the "republican" south, and want to ignore DC.  Washington DC has had democrat mayors and under Democrat control from 1967 to present.  But hey, don't pay attention to poverty in the nations capital under 50 years of democrat control, it doesn't advance Box's argument.  So please, ignore that statistic, because Democrat policy in Washington DC are just serving the self interests of those living in DC, they must want to live in poverty, high crime, and poor schools.

Yes there is DC (Not an actual state) and there is the entire South probably 15 states who
consistently vote FOR Republicans and vote AGAINST federal programs to help the poor.
Of course there is poverty in all areas of the country... Many Dem Cities, many Rep cities... but
Cicero is unable to see the vast 1/3 of states who vote FOR poverty...
All Cissy can see is DC.

Say the entire south was hit by a nuclear accident and totally obliterated...
Cicero would say... "BUT NOT DC!!!  WE CAN IGNORE THE SOUTH BECAUSE DC IS OK!!!"

You're right, DC is a district of the federal government.

there will always be people in poverty. people who 'have less' look like they have nothing, especially in the monetary system
of today....the contrast is extreme....but they may be very very very happy, because what they have is theirs....

you can't fix character and choice by tossing $$ at it....in healthcare I can't fix a nurse's character but, I can pay them more
make them take more responsibility and own their choices with their character....if they can't cut it then they get cut.

and then there are some people who just don't understand the system and never will....habitat for humanity, sure, sounds nice,
looks nice, is nice (wish they would come to my poor house). however, you hand over the home to a person who needs to
have a job, hold a job, pay bills/taxes on said nice new home.

squandering $$ is what humans do well....just like buying sh!t we don't need when 'rich', it just looks 'better'

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.
