Not living in Schenectady, not having to pay those outrageous taxes, I'm not going to scrutinize things in the city as much.

Who heard that while there is going to be yet another tax increase and while graduation rate is falling, did anyone now that the budget voted for in May provided for a raise for the super?

He makes almost $200,000 which is already too high.   He is a servant of the taxpayers.  If he wanted a big salary, he should have gone to work in the private sector and work his way up instead of digging into the taxpayers' pockets, families who make less than $40,000 a year have to give a raise to a school super who can't produce students who can read and write by 12th grade

One of those things kept a secret, just like the ex mayor of BS tried to sneak through a fat raise without telling the voters

instead of line items ....why don't they post one line at a time.......that's why they can get away with  pay raises...

you have to have a Master's in math to figure it out........want to see how much one employee costs....and how much raise they get per year.....

balance the buget is easy when you can make the bottom line ZERO...

Problem with that website is it doesn't give enough info.  You don't know if the person listed is a secretary, a janitor, an aide, a teacher, a teacher with only one year of work or a teacher with 30 years of work
