Why do they deny families the ability to attend graduation, except for immediate family?

Of course, the collusion between the city, the school district and King Philip.   Neighbors of ours were prohibited from attending their grandson's graduation because of limited seating.

Why does Schenectady hold it's graduation on a weekday during the day when some people are denied the ability to take the day off from work to attend their child's graduation.

What kind if sick minds don't care about family.   Graduation should be on a Saturday or Sunday and should NEVER be held at Proctors, it should be held at a location when families can attend.

Schenectady school district is pathetic, families don't matter

It's always been during the week and most of the other schools in the area have it during the week also. As someone who has had to work weekends for years, it's easy to get  a day off during the week than on the weekend. Realistically, you can't have dozens of schools all requiring the same location on the same weekend. There are not that many theaters/auditoriums that can fit everyone.

The limited people is a shame. When I graduated from MP, we could have anyone come but the class was only 120-130ish. What size class in Schenectady graduating? Saratoga, ballston spa, etc use SPAC which accommodates a larger number, especially when you account for the lawn.

Seeing that there is such a low graduation rate, you would think they would want everyone possible to attend - to fill up the seats.

I know, yes.  I think they said it was four or five tickets allowed.  So two parents and two siblings.  What about all the children who have 6, 7 siblings because their moms and or 7 baby daddies.

If not on a weekened, at least on a week night.

They could set up a tent on the football field or their own school.  Come on, King Phillip gets paid enough in his quarter million dollar taxpayer funded salary that he could return to the taxpayers what is theirs to begin with, and spend the money for a huge tent.  Hell, Galesi could do it, the cost to him would be like a penny out of a billion or his wealth.

They could have it a Music Haven in Central Park

Heck, McTHUG wants people downtown, how about closing off State St and setting up chair in the road.  Gee, if they can to that for a beach party.

Oh, will it be too hot for attendees sitting on asphalt between concrete buildings?

They could have it Union College.  Really, how many graduations does Union College have of it's own students?

Oh, so DV, did you have some illegitimate child that you never spoke about that graduated this year that you know whether it was organized or not?

Why didn't you address the shameful stupidity that SHS holds their graduation at a venue that is so small it denies families the ability to attend?   Oh, that's right, that would mean criticizing your precious tax evader
