....DON'T FIX IT."

Everyone has heard that.

So many things broke in the city of Schenectady.  Massively falling tax base.  Falling property values.  Falling home sales.  Falling home sale prices,  Reductions of essential services.  Taxes practically doubled under the dem leadership.  Creation and doubling of new fees; hiking of previously existing fees.  People leaving the city in droves.   Tax foreclosures at record highs.  Abandoned houses at record highs.  Blight spreading like wildfire throughout the city's neighborhoods.

Isn't it time to fix the city?

Wish the people in the city would open their eyes and see that most everything in the city is broke.

Wouldn't it be nice if the leaders of the city would acknowledge that the city is broke and they would start to fix it.

The assessment roll is broke, when is the city going to fix that?

Guess as long as the millionaires are getting richer off the taxpayers' money, then nothing in the city is broke.

Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent.
Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and
speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

The whole city is falling and sinking literally.Next time you go to dunkin donuts on broadway and congress street, take a look at congress street bridge,it's just a matter of time before the city closes this decaying, crumbling infrastructure.Only then will Bellevue be safe from the crime coming from mt pleasant,if they have to walk around to get to broadway, then be it! The 8th avenue bridge is already closed, now hollow factorys, aging bridge is in need of repairs as well, like I said Schenectady is falling down, falling down, falling down!!!

C'mon you guys are too negative. Don't you see the renaissance? Another gin mill is opening Downtown so what if they got a tax giveaway. TJ Hooker said the roads in the County are great so that
ends any discussion. Once they relocated the DSS to Broadway that was it for Bellevue. And some of the neighborhood "leaders" praised this discussion.

40 years of DEM moron rule, that "understands the importance of high taxes", that does everything to discourage new businesses, that floods neighborhoods with Code
Enforcement hacks, whose only interest is getting re-elected and never the good of the people-has it's consequences. The entire County will be go down the drain because of the
total incompetence of City leaders. No plan-no vision-no clue how to get out of the fiscal mess they created. Watch for more Denise Brucker's exiting stage left.
