Tonight at the town Planning commision they will be getting the approval to expand the Long Pond Apartment complex into wetland and floodzone. So the next time there is a flood of that area (which happens annually) they can try to sue the mall or the canal corporation or even the town. This will be proof that the nepotism in Rotterdam is strong.  The town was awarded 3 million dollars to deal with flood mitigation, yet they will do nothing about the road and homes down there flooding annually.  My favorite will be the excavation that will turn not be tested so that they can have plausable deniability when someone asks about the PCB's, which will most likely be swept under the rug just like the last time.

Just to clarify the situation:
I suggest that you read the actual wording of the Planning Commission agenda at Rotterdamny.org.  This is actually just the FIRST STEP in the process - a process that could take at least a couple of months.  No final decisions are being made tonight.
If you have concerns, you are most welcome and encouraged to attend AND to voice your concerns.

So, now you are a planning commission genius.

But you have no knowledge regarding the dispatch center.

If you have concerns, you are most welcome and encouraged to attend AND to voice your concerns that I will totally ignore, as I have done before, and just do what I want, regardless of what you useless nayboobs want! (For reference, look at how I treated the CVS vote and the comments I made about those people that complained.).

It is useless discussing anything with you.  You are either a pathological liar and/or like to make things up out o nothing.
You are also unable to back up your FALSE accusations regarding the dispatch center.

just what we need more appts

high density population which then reduces the owners assessed value

which means single family home owners have to pay for the increased demand for services
