400k less dead Americans.  Americans who left that shithole Europe to get away from the wars and poverty, just to go back and die on the lands they fled.  For what?  So the Soviet Union could expand its territory?

Where were the Europeans helping the US fight the Japanese?  Oh, let me guess, "they got theirs, screw everybody else".

You still didn't respond to:

Cicero whines about Japan's casualties, a country who enthusiastically promoted this war, and is
silent on the 44 million dead in China and Russia.
How many more would have died in China and Russia if the USA had pulled a Cicero and
sat out the war eating icecream?

WOW!  I knew that Cicero didn't know many details of US or WORLD history, but I had no idea it was
this bad.
Seriously Cicero... read a book.  Look up some facts on line... posting your agenda as if it were fact
leads no where.

(Start with the ULTRA or ENIGMA secret code, that the British gave to us... helping shorten
the war by at least 2 years and maybe 4 years, with the outcome not certain.)

How many Brit casualties in Pacific?

How many Brit casualties in Pacific?

At least 17,000 British subjects from Australia died in WW2 fighting in the Pacific.
While 9,500 died fighting in Europe.

Is that enough death for you or do you need more???

12,000 British from New Zealand died fighting in WW2, much of it in their native Pacific.

Need More???
272,000 British from Burma died fighting the Japanese in WW2.

More?
100,000 British Malay died in WW2, in the Pacific.

Oh, and the British lost 5670 killed or missing fighting in the Pacific.

Like I posted earlier... Read a history book.  Your agenda is not a substitute for historical fact.

L4L was pointing out the Japanese deaths.  What does China and Russia have to do with it?  You propping up a straw man? China and Russia were fighting over disputed territories-Manchuria.  What do you care about Manchuria?  If you do care, where was the US when Japan invaded in 1931, or when the Soviet Union invade Manchuria in 1945?  Is it in US interest whether Japan, Soviet Union, or China controls Manchuria?

Yea they kind of slacked off on that didn't they... as their country was being bombed, their ships being
torpedoed and their cities subject to V1 & V2 rockets.
BTW, the list of BRITISH SHIPS sunk by JAPANESE SUBMARINES:
HMS Cicala
HMS Cornwall
HMS Dorsetshire
HMS Dragonfly
HMS Electra
HMS Encounter
HMS Exeter
HMS Grasshopper
HMS Hermes
HMS Hollyhock
HMS Pathfinder
HMS Peterel
HMS Porpoise
HMS Prince of Wales
HMS Repulse.
HMS Scorpion
HMS Stonehenge
HMS Stratagem
HMS Stronghold
HMS Tenedos
HMS Thanet
HMS Thracian:
HMS Li Wo British gunboat
HMS Mata Hari
HMS St. Breok

Really Cicero, if you've ever read a book (or even watched a historical movie) about WW2, you'd realize
how much the British took part in the war in the Pacific.
(Cicero much prefers his agenda to actual facts.)

The eroticization of the master-slave dialectic invests itself in the invention of panopticism.

Cissy has no idea what is involved in military service.  His post are similar to me posting on the best
wine to buy... I don't like wine, I don't drink wine and I know nothing about vintage or wineries.
All that I know about wine is what I've heard from others... All Cissy knows about "service" he's
learned from others, yet he posts s if he's an expert.

Sorry, had to add correction..."learned" would imply that Cissy has actually benefited
from information, and we all know that is not true...and we all know he is an EXPERT on everything (in his mind).
