At least 17,000 British subjects from Australia died in WW2 fighting in the Pacific. While 9,500 died fighting in Europe.

12,000 British from New Zealand died fighting in WW2, much of it in their native Pacific.
Need More??? 272,000 British from Burma died fighting the Japanese in WW2.
More? 100,000 British Malay died in WW2, in the Pacific.

L4L was pointing out the Japanese deaths. What does China and Russia have to do with it? You propping up a straw man? China and Russia were fighting over disputed territories-Manchuria. What do you care about Manchuria? If you do care, where was the US when Japan invaded in 1931, or when the Soviet Union invade Manchuria in 1945? Is it in US interest whether Japan, Soviet Union, or China controls Manchuria?
