Schenectady IS redneck compared to 'the city'....I hear it all the time from folks who have family here and there and have lived in both.....
there's always the urban Walmart stores around filled with pajama bottom, slipper wearing, government served, customers......
they may or may not have a gun and they may or may not have all their teeth....they look well nourished but have no idea what they are eating because it's all wrapped up in a nice shiny package with some labels they can't even read, thanks to the local public schools and the standard set forth by our leaders......but they blow up those cell phones and you can hear their conversations from the parking lot.....

You sound like you have a prejudice against people of Anglo-Celtic heritage. BTW - not all people of Anglo-Celtic origin harbor confederate sympathies. Certainly, Abraham Lincoln and Ulysses S. Grant - both of whom were of Anglo-Celtic heritage - were not confederate sympathizers.

Oh that's right....you are the only one that knows the secrets of the Civil War.... Everyone the had history class knows it was not all about slavery. Heard of the cotton gin???? Economic issues; states vs Federal rights; slavery; and yes, even the election of Lincoln all were contributing factors to the war. Soooooo........ Was the result that slavery was ended?
