Heard at the donut shop that ShopRite will be moving into to Rotterdam Sq. Mall. They said that they will take over TJ Maxx's area and some stores close by. This person works at the mall. Could all be rumor of course.............just thowin' it out there. |

why???...tired of taking too long to get across Town......no competition makes for chaos on the roads.....
it's annoying to see what has happened when government made a good size town into a small parking lot...
thinking like the city.....everything all in one place and the same thing over and over....

Patchy....if you REALLY think it takes too long to go across ROTTENdam  .........then you haven't been out of the county or the state much. Just remember.....start to develop the west end.....and you'll have another Altamont ave right in your back yard. CDTA buses are already running the west end roads of ROTTENdam....along with taxi's. Ya want MORE?  I guess you were in favor of the walmart super center on the west end too....huh? Don't get me wrong....I would support a shoprite at the mall too. I would also support development at the I88 site also. NO WHERE ELSE! Leave well enough alone. |

BT that's what I meant....and yes I have been to other very big cities.....in other states....and let me tell you..
they are more courteous and abiding ........
taxi's and buses will always be a staple of any town city village.......some people are not fortunate to own a car let alone have a license to drive...
and no I fought the Walmart center in the west end.....so you don't know all of what I have my opinion about....you seem to relish in putting so much
negativity into what said....
guess what...if you don't have a horse in the race.....then why have any opinion at all.......just mouthing off some intelligence are ya'???

yes here in the WEST end.......at the Mall would be fine.....let's just give this side a little more business.......
like Vet.....laundromat.....small outside Mall......
Maybe Trustco moved because they do know something more than we do......

I agree, I'd probably do half my shopping there, also would really help the other stores in the mall. Doubt it will happen, but I'm all for this. |
