Nice picture, seems the government thugs didn't like guns pointed back at them and hauled a** out of there. God bless these patriots

LMAO! GOD BLESS THESE PATRIOTS!

Exactly what did they do that was patriotic???
They agreed to pay for grazing rights then stiffed the US Govt for the price.  Suppose they did the same thing
to a neighboring farm... agreed to pay a fee for grazing his cattle, then didn't pay... Would that be the work of
a thief or a "patriot"?
Suppose this were the Black Panthers who were using YOUR PUBLIC PROPERTY, to carry out a commercial venture
and not paying their bills?  Would these same "farmers" be considered PATRIOTS if they stiffed the US govt for
say... camping rights?

When a federal agent catches a drug runner transporting heroin into Rotterdam, and the agent shoots the
drug runner... Is he a patriot too???

I've been amazed since I joined this board at how, seemingly "normal" people, can include MURDER
as part of their value system, and even defend it as if it were a virtue.

So tell me again how these cattle were endangering these tortoises and why is it that the government was willing to turned a blind eye for a price. Will you admit the government was using that excuse as a scam to f*ck the ranchers, many who went out of business because of it.

If they went out of business by paying for grazing rights, then they shouldn't be in the cattle business.
There are hundreds of ranchers making a living and paying their bills... many take advantage of grazing
rights on public land.

Whiny Right Wing Anti Govt Crybabies!  Boo Hoo... The mean ole govt says that I have to pay
my bills... boo hoo
Poor sissy victimes... someone come and help us avoid paying our bills.  TeaBaggers unite behind our
scam... help us grab public land for our own enrichment, but bring a gun so you can get shot protecting
our "right" to steal from the American people.

These pathetic @ssholes are the worst kind of scam artists.  ME ME ME!!!  They are suckiing off the
Govt tit grabbing all they can grab of TaxPayer land, as they play the poor underdog victim.
They give the honest ranchers a bad name.

So I will ask again, how does a grazing fee protect the tortoise which is why the fee began, and why would the government turn a blind eye for a price? The Bundy family has used that land since the 1800's and there is no proof the cattle has done any damage to the habitat of the tortoise.

Oh look, now Boxy wants to have a discussion.

Good to see you coming down from your latest sperg attack.

Anyway, let's try this again....Just three quick questions for you Boxy.

Since when does the federal gov. send in snipers, canine units and paramilitary cops armed with FULLY automatic rifles to collect on a debt?

Why would the Feds pay $900k to 'contract cowboys' to collect on a $1M debt that Bundy reportedly owes?

And final question...

Between the Bundys and Cops, who used violence?

I have no idea about the tortoise.  IMO,That has little to do with this case.

Funny that Henry posts the Right Wing Bull $hit as if it were fact...
Um... Henry... The Bundy's started ranching in 1954.  Not since the 1800's!

Henry if you ran a business and contracted to the US Govt, or a private business, and you
completely ignored your debts, for years...
your assets could be seized to pay off those debts.
How is that any different than some Right Wing "so called" rancher welching on his debts???

ANSWER #1
The feds did (and should) send in what ever armed forces are need for that particular case.
The feds seize property every day, often from drug dealers, store owners and tax evaders.

ANSWER #2
I don't  know how much the Feds paid to seize Bundy's assets.  My guess, that since the feds don't
have any Federal Cattle repossessors  on the payroll, they hired out private contractors.
So not only did this scumbag not pay his debts, the @sshole stuck the TAXPAYERS for another
$900,000 to seize Bundy's assets.

ANSWER #3
I don't know.  Who used violence?
The Feds were authorized to use force if necessary to LEGALLY seize assets in compensation for debts.
Much like a Drug Dealer or Smuggler has their assets LEGALLY confiscated by force.
Were the RedNeck GunHuggers LEGALLY authorized to use force???   VIOLENCE!!! Anti Govt fanatics have a
clear history of VIOLENCE and MURDER against police and federal agents, or are those "murderers" also
on your PATRIOT list?

(Can you imagine, some on this board consider this ScumSucker to be a PATRIOT!)

The Bundy family has used that land since the 1800's and there is no proof the cattle has done any
damage to the habitat of the tortoise.

Clark County property records reveal that Bundy’s parents moved from Bundyville,
Arizona and purchased the ranch in 1948 from Raoul and Ruth Leavitt. Water rights
were, as Bundy claims, transferred, but only to the ranch–not to the federal land
surrounding it. In another blow to the welfare cowboy’s credibility, cattle did not graze
on the land until 1954.
The Bureau of Land Management, Bundy’s nemesis, was created in 1946–the same year
that Bundy was born, and two years before the family’s purchase of the ranch. However,
Bundy won’t let little things like facts stop him!

The federal government claims Bundy owes more than $1 million in unpaid grazing fees dating back to
the early 1990s. Bundy says he recognizes state authority, but not federal authority, in the regulation
of land his family has utilized for more than a century. Thus, he says he won’t pay the federal portion
of the fees.

His claims have been twice denied in court, so he doesn’t seem to have a legal leg to stand on, but
Bundy is undeterred.
