taking $$ from one and passing it to another, ensures votes even if it's only for a starry eyed moment by the recipient who in
their short memory will forget after they cast their vote only to complain later, but that''s how the political golem wants it.

a check in the mail today is a vote in the box tomorrow

election 101....THAT IS ELECTION FRAUD....

On March 31, 2014, the Obamacare open enrollment deadline passed. Over 8 million Americans
successfully enrolled and gained health insurance coverage. Over six million more gained coverage
through Medicaid expansion. Despite Republican claims that the sky would fall and send the US
job market into a death spiral, it did not fall and it still hasn’t.

For the fourth consecutive month, the economy added more than 200,000 jobs, and healthcare
led the way in creating those jobs.
According to a report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics,
217,000 jobs were added in May. Healthcare was responsible for approximately 55,000 of those
jobs.
And that’s not the only good news.

The jobs report is even sweeter because it means the United States has finally recovered all
of the jobs lost when the economy crashed during the Bush Administration in 2008.

Wow!  Jobs were created out of forcing Americans to purchase a service in the insurance industry.  Amazing!  You can apply that model to every industry.  Force me to but McDonalds and the fast food industry will create jobs!

Yes, you are right.  Pass a law forcing people to insure bicycles and you will create jobs in the insurance industry.  It's pretty simple, you demand money with the barrel of a gun to give to the insurance company, you create jobs.  It's amazing how that works!

24 of our 50 states have declined to expand Medicaid. The Obama administration
calculates that the result is 5.7 million people remain uninsured who would otherwise
be able to take advantage of subsidized health insurance.

Quoted Text
Mercy Health, the sixth-largest Catholic health care system in the U.S., last week announced
plans to lay off approximately 200 to 300 employees across its network of hospitals and clinics
in Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri and Oklahoma. The company attributed the layoffs, which will
go into effect at the end of June, in part to the refusal by some states to expand Medicaid
eligibility as authorized by the Affordable Care Act.

…Of the four states experiencing Mercy layoffs, Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma decided not
to expand Medicaid, leaving 100,000, 253,000 and 123,000 of their low-income residents
uninsured, respectively.

the states don't want to pay for national health insurance that is mandated by the federal government....the
federal government mandated it, the federal government and the IRS will be the gangstas....the states don't want
their hands in it.
we all know how well NYS manages $$$$........and how efficient governments are...hahahahahahaha

those folks are NOT uninsured....they have access just like everyone else.....the state/medicaid is just a wasted
conversation that will be a moot point VERY SOON.

it's a strawman conversation. The reps DID want national healthcare....the government as a whole DOES NOT
WORK FOR YOU OR I....the government manages the masses and we all march to their beat.....chain link by chain link

Increasing Access to Affordable Care: Expanding Medicaid Eligibility (Effective January 1, 2014)
As of January 1, 2014, Americans under age 65 who have incomes less than 133 percent of the federal poverty level ($14,500 for an individual and $29,700 for a family of four LET'S HEAR IT FOR THOSE CASINO JOBS. in 2011) who are not pregnant and not otherwise eligible for Medicaid, will be eligible to enroll in Medicaid. This new coverage ends the long-time exclusion of low-income adults from Medicaid coverage.

States will receive 100 percent federal funding for the first three years to support this expanded coverage, phasing down to no less than 90 percent federal funding in subsequent years. States that have already expanded coverage to this group will also receive additional federal support.

See more information about Eligibility.

Increasing Access to Affordable Health Care: Creating a System of Affordable Health Coverage (Effective January 1, 2014)
Starting in 2014, there will be a new system of coverage in which eligibility and enrollment is coordinated across Medicaid, the Children's Health Insurance Program, and the newly created Affordable Insurance Exchanges. People who cannot get insurance through their employer will be able to buy it directly in an Affordable Insurance Exchange.

An Exchange is a new transparent and competitive insurance marketplace HAHAHAHA where individuals and small businesses can buy affordable and qualified health benefit plans and may be able to receive a premium tax credit. Exchanges will offer a choice of health plans that meet certain benefits and cost standards.

See more information about Coordination with Affordable Insurance Exchanges.

Improving Access to Affordable Care: Permitting hospitals to make presumptive eligibility determinations (Effective January 1, 2014)
Hospitals and clinics that are participating Medicaid providers can determine, based on preliminary applicant information, whether a person is eligible for Medicaid for purposes of providing medical assistance during a presumptive eligibility period. This broadens the populations for which presumptive eligibility decisions may be made.

2015
Improving Access to Affordable Care: Increasing the federal matching rate for the Children's Health Insurance Program (October 1, 2015)
Federal matching funds for the Children's Health Insurance Program will increase by 23 percentage points, up to a cap of 100 percent, in order to help states pay for coverage of uninsured children.

85 percent of ObamaCare ‘inconsistencies’ can’t be fixed
By Geoff Earle

July 2, 2014 | 1:42am

Modal Trigger
WASHINGTON — Federal officials can’t resolve 85 percent of 2.9 million “inconsistencies” on applications for ObamaCare even after nine months of trying, according to new data provided by the administration.

Most of the problems involve certifying citizenship and income, key components of the national health plan.

But some of the problems are downright nutty.

One unidentified state-run marketplace cited situations in which infants and young children were “erroneously identified as incarcerated, according to federal data,” the inspector general for the Health and Human Services Department revealed Tuesday.

Just 425,000 problematic applications have been resolved out of 2.9 million that states and the federal exchange reported, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services told The Post.   http://nypost.com/2014/07/02/85-percent-of-obamacare-inconsistencies-cant-be-fixed/

you will be required to do it through your HR/PAYROLL....ALL THE PAYROLL COMPANIES ARE READY....it's only when you
have to do it 'alone' that there is an issue....it requires 'officials' to deem you worthy of your chain around your ankle

HR Compliance: Are Employers Ready for Health Care Reform?

Complying with Health Care Reform (the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act – the ACA) and containing healthcare insurance costs are probably the two most critical challenges facing employers in the HR and employee benefits area, according to an ADP Research Institute survey of U.S. companies. The findings indicate many employers are not prepared for what is coming next with the ACA – and they continue to struggle with escalating healthcare expenses.

Costs and the HR Compliance Burden Are Going Up for Employer-Sponsored Healthcare

Even as many employers express uncertainty about how to comply with the Health Care Reform law, most are sure of two things: the ACA presents an unparalleled HR compliance challenge and the soaring cost of employee healthcare benefits can imperil the achievement of key business goals.

Health Care Reform Is The Big HR Compliance Challenge

Now that Health Care Reform is settled law, it is also your most prominent HR compliance challenge. Did you know that many employers are unprepared and unsure of their ACA responsibilities? Is your company ready – or still catching up?

Fed appeals court panel says most Obamacare subsidies illegal
Dan Mangan     | @_DanMangan
In a potentially crippling blow to Obamacare, a federal appeals court panel declared Tuesday that government subsidies worth billions of dollars that helped 4.7 million people buy insurance on HealthCare.gov are illegal.

A judicial panel in a 2-1 ruling said such subsidies can be granted only to those people who bought insurance in an Obamacare exchange run by an individual state or the District of Columbia — not on the federally run exchange HealthCare.gov.

"Section 36B plainly makes subsidies available in the Exchanges established by states," wrote Senior Circuit Judge Raymond Randolph in his majority opinion, where he was joined by Judge Thomas Griffith. "We reach this conclusion, frankly, with reluctance. At least until states that wish to can set up their own Exchanges, our ruling will likely have significant consequences both for millions of individuals receiving tax credits through federal Exchanges and for health insurance markets more broadly."   http://www.cnbc.com/id/101819065
