I think DV's colleages on the town planning council would really like to see his inability to explain what the ROI to the homeonwers is on the wild spending on downtown.   They'd probably love to see his comments that taxes in the county are lower than 50 years ago.  And DV's statement that city taxes are lower today than 10 years ago.   What a laughing stock he would be

Once again, you continue to spew your outrageous lies.
They will be paying taxes -- per the PILOT, plus sales tax on food and beverages sold, plus income taxes paid by the owner and employees,  They also benefited the community by saving an historic, old building that was on the verge of collapse.
If you want to see an IKEA or some other business Downtown, why don't you stop your bellyaching and put YOUR money where your mouth is and invest in Downtown.  It sure is easier for you to complain rather than to actually DO something positive.

Mexican Radio will not be paying any property taxes or school taxes for the first three years...as per the PILOT.

The share of the sales taxes the City has received since 1995 has remained the same...no increase.

I support the City far more than you ever have. I pay taxes on properties in the City....that's far more than all the burritos you'll eat at Mexican Radio.

But then again...

How about commenting on what your buddies have done to the city.   What's the matter, are you too embarrassed to watch this?   Are you to embarrassed to comment on the progress under the dems you cheer for?

Do you want MORE of this in the city??????    Answer DV???????

The Gazette should be printing financial details, maybe a condensed version at least, of every Metroplex project that is announced. We need the backstory on these projects, after all it is taxpayer money given out and forgiven.

They would also have to include how much principal plus interest is paid back over the terms of the bond.  Currently the interest for the Metroplex bond fluctuates between 3 to 3.50 percent.  If sales tax revenue isn't increasing, how can they payback the bond AND generate additional revenue for the city?  They can't, that's why property taxes continue to rise.  It's theft.

Very good logic.   And DV is TOO CHICKEN to address thos4e TRUTHS.   Well, of course, he has no financial ability or knowledge (proven by the fact that he is unable to be self sufficient, but rather he has had to be financially supported by a pair of nannies for more than 20 years), his stupid remarks that taxes were higher in the past---but he cannot provide one teeny weeny shred of evidence, and his stupidity claiming that a city that is seeing a MASSIVE REDUCTION in it's tax base DV claims that the city is in a renaissance.

I really wonder what his colleagues on the town planning committee thing of him.  On the other hand, maybe he has some brains but chooses to make stupid comments as without a life he maybe he gets his jollies telling lies, but I would think if he told his colleagues that he is deliberately being stupid, I can't imagine they'd want to have anything to do with him.

Dammit!

Lol.

I translated  "I am a big fat retard" and it substituted the word "delay" for retard during the translation back.

Goatboy didn't even realize I reworded his anthem and he reposted it himself.
