Back to the point: Oh, so what you are saying is that the people who opt out are still paying a portion of the fee for brush collection even though they are not using the service. I think that's called RIPPING OFF THE TAXPAYER! So they really should get a rebate in the amount equal to what portion of their taxes are being used for the service. Thank you. I think everyone should bring this up to town hall and request their rebate based on the information provided by none other than the wannabe DVOR. The simplest solution is to eliminate the brush/yard waste service altogether. Then the TOTAL cost of the service could be eliminated from the budget and taxes could be lowered.
