My co-worker's wife called the TH and they said you can mail the notarized form in, to the attention of the Town Clerk.
You don't have to physically go there.

That will make it easier for many people to opt out of brush pickup.

Breathing fee, courtesy of Sheriff Buffonti.

YUP! Some folks want to avoid the political drama and avoid the place while opting out.
Lots of folks are opting out and will have a 'compost heap' in a corner of their yard.....OR.....just let 'em blow around and let nature handle it.

Suggest anyone opting out make a copy of the notarized form to prove you have it, because
someone (no names mentioned), might say it was never rec'd. Best thing is to hand it to TC
(instead of mailing) and ask them to stamp your copy with date of receipt.

Is it a tax or is it a fee?
I think it's a fee.  Even still, wouldn't this be handled by someone with financial responsibilities
and not the TC...like maybe comptroller's office????
