Third fire at same vacant home being called "unusual"

ROTTERDAM, N.Y. -- The investigation is underway into what caused another fire at the same home in the town of Rotterdam.
Firefighters are calling it unusual, after the home on Floral Avenue caught fire for the third time in two months. Crews were called to the same vacant home just after 8 p.m. on Wednesday.
Although the fire was put out quickly, police are working to figure our what or who is to blame.
"The first two fires were incendiary. One was in the porch, the other garage. We're working with the Rotterdam Police Department to figure out who or what did this," said John Nuxback, a member of the Schenectady County Fire Department.
Floral Avenue was shut down while crews put out the fire.

So why is the house vacant?
People fleeing the high taxes of the dems? House is not listed for sale. Were the taxes so high the owners couldn't afford the dems dam taxes and they were evictedin tax seizure? |

Haven't been down that road in a few years, but there was a house that had been vacant for years. It was on the left side, first block off curry. if I remember correctly, the person owned it but didn't live there.
might not be this same house tho. |

The owner of the home is in a nursing home, her husband died a few years back. The family and pending estate are paying to keep the home in the family.
