I'm amazed.  Feb 13th and I just saw a flock of 6 or 7 robins in my front yard!

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

They were hanging around upper Union on Tuesday. Drinking water from roof gutters and icicles. Very pretty in the late day sunlight. I wonder what is causing their unusual behavior?

I did hear some singing over the past week.....the sun is higher in the sky and the snow looks beautiful.....

We have a few robins that stay year around and have for the past 5 years.

We've always had robins that don't migrate, but they tended to hang out in the woods or near the river. This large flock cruising the neighborhoods in February is what's out of the ordinary.
A few winters back, I heard about a flock of bluebirds in the nature preserve off of River Road, and I went to look, but I didn't see anything. That I'd like to see.
