In order to cuts town plowing costs the highway super is going to purchase new equipment until then he is hiring a single private contractor to plow town roads


Godlewski's recommendation for money saving changes are the following

Replace all cancer causing plow trucks with

Smaller and leaner

Toyota Prius' with snow way plexiglass plows

slam dunk FDG again....where are the facts????...

ROADS ARE TERRIBLE IN THIS TOWN....A LITTLE SAND AND HARDLY PLOWED.....

NEEDS MORE SANDING AND SALTING.....

PUT THE COFFEE CUPS DOWN AND GET TO WORK.

Considering the weather yesterday...ROTTENdam's roads are great!!!

Just cross the ROTTENdam/city line and hang on to your hats!!! OMG!

What the voters wanted???  The electorate wanted to get rid of the pigs feeding at the public trough. Raises, the REMS fiasco and laying off paramedics cost the Dems. Goof off Hwy employees should be wary of the little man on the third floor if his yard waste tax doesn't hit his mark. Dummy.

again............if the roads are a mess....blame the 'workers'.
they have been doing this for how many years if not decades now?
the workers should be able to plow ROTTENdam roads with their eyes closed.....yes?

and if these workers don't wanna take direction from their new boss.....QUIT!!!

i'm sure those positions can be filled immediately if not sooner!

you don't suppose these workers are performing "SNOWGATE".....and this is an intentional slam against LM ???....

con't doubt it...

in the private sector, bosses are replaced ALL THE TIME!

if the workers don't do as they are told....so to say.....they are put on notice and if no improvement...they are GONE!!

on the other hand....if the workers don't like the new boss and the new rules......they QUIT!!

However...none of these decisions, on both sides are made based on political affiliation!!!!!

really.....town employees have it made...CSEA protected ....and performance is not evaluated as it should be...

these guys milk their jobs....have seen it.....have you ever observed how they dig a hole and  10 stand around and observe what's going on??

must be a training seminar....along with coffee in hands and cigs in mouth.....puff the magic dragon.

and they are getting paid for what???.....time studies should be done for all jobs....and....snowplowing why wouldn't it  be any different....

overkill on employees in all departments....and it should be the business of the residents to know they are getting their money's worth.

by the time they are reprimanded in the system 10 or more will have retired - why bother

larry should take his paycheck and sit home or head south and return for one day of work a year(a la Eunice Osta Esposito)  - a lot less headache
