During the ongoing land dispute around the Sugar Pine Mine in Galice, Oregon,
the mine owners unwisely asked the Oath Keepers for help. Unlike the Bundy Ranch
situation, the mine operators are clearly in the right, with the Bureau of Land Management
ignoring court orders, FOIA requests, and the law itself. Once the Oath Keepers entered
the picture, the entire situation became much less stable, and now things look to be so on
edge that the entire situation almost became a shooting conflict.

The Oath Keepers, America’s second favorite domestic terrorist group, are so adamant
that the democratically elected government is about to swoop in and throw them all in
FEMA camps that a random helicopter in Oregon nearly caused a civil war. The situation
appears to have begun when a lone helicopter landed on a nearby mountain without the
Oath Keepers’ permission, according to their local leader Joseph Rice.

This helicopter landing, appears to have caused the Oath Keepers to issue a coded message
calling for an armed response against what they viewed as the government invading. That
the helicopter in question was identified as a small civilian vehicle.

The lunacy surrounding “Jade Helm 15,” a military training exercise set to take
place in Texas (or so they say!) has officially hit a new low: Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, a man
who thinks he should be president of the United States, is assuring his constituents that
his office will be demanding answers from the Pentagon about whether or not they are
secretly invading Texas under orders from President Obama.

Actor Chuck Norris, who has become a prominent conservative activist, published a
column on the conspiracy theory website WND (Wing Nut Daily) that told readers not to trust
what the federal government has been saying about a military training exercise known as Jade
Helm 15.

Some conspiracy theorists have warned that the exercise, which is set to take place later
this year in Texas and six other western states, may lead to a covert takeover of some of
those states. Last week, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) ordered the State Guard to monitor
the operation.

"The U.S. government says, 'It’s just a training exercise.' But I’m not sure the term 'just'
has any reference to reality when the government uses it," Norris wrote in his column.
"Whatever Jade Helm 15 actually is, I think it is more than coincidental that the FBI director
just confessed in February that the presence of ISIS can be felt in all 50 states of the U.S.
and that the Pentagon is suddenly running its biggest military training exercise with every
branch of the military across seven Southwestern states."
