I was using the internet as early as 1986-87 while working at RPI...

It was!... We were one of the last ones in our neighborhood to get cable ...because my dad worked for commercial, over the air TV broadcasting and at that time, the cable companies were not reimbursing TV stations for using their signal..so he wouldn't get cable...
But, we were the first in the neighborhood with pong...and two player hockey!! big stuff back then.
