when an animal has no freedom but only that of which is virtually imposed upon it, the animal seeks escape...
heroin IS no joke....but neither is the meddling of state into personal choice via legislative 'god-head government' under the guise of social engineering...it's just as dangerous.
the likes of Mayor Bloomberg feed on the same high that heroin gives to the 'free'...... |

Pot is legal, Heroin should be too. |
| We are advised NOT to judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, but we are encouraged to judge ALL gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics. Funny how that works. |

I agree. Legalize ALL drugs and tax the heck out of them. |

Heroin usage has much more to do with "a readily available supply" than it does laws to arrest those trafficking.
Increase the penalty for trafficking and usage drops slightly. Increase the cost of heroin and usage drops significantly. Decrease the amount of drug available on the streets and usage drops substantially. |

That simple huh? So increasing the price doesn't result in junkies stealing, mugging, and breaking and entering more? I guess they'll just stop using and deal with the withdrawal symptoms. Only if the government knew it was that simple 34 years ago when they started the bogus "war on drugs". |

Is that what I posted Cicero??? Increasing the cost of the drug reduces (or dampens an increase) of new users. |

What has the USG been doing since 1980? Wasn't that the strategy since day one of the war on drugs? |
