Who risked more? Henry risked nothing but a little time and money. Sgt Jack-Off risked his life. I know, it's a distinction that is beyond you.
Look at it this way... The difference between being committed and being involved. When you have ham and eggs for breakfast, the chicken was 'involved'... the pig was "committed"!
risking 'more' depends on what the definition of the 'more' is....and it's ALL SUBJECTIVE..... if someone with 5 minutes to spare before being late to work risking firing, stops to help someone in trouble etc, and gets fired for it because they are late. was that enough of a risk? YOU WOULDN'T EVEN CARE.... heros aren't just state figures...state hero figures held up are no different than religious 'saints' must be nice and clean to have such a narrow view of what to believe/worship...makes for less choices with which to wrestle.... |
