1995 - Truck bomb at Federal Building in Oklahoma City, kills 168 & injures 500

and this is what you call an American......I remember it well........3 sons ...my uncles.....all going to war at the same time...

Remember the notice in window that 3 sons were serving their country.....remember when it was announced that a sub had been sunk....

remember the tank gunner who was the only one to survive attack....remember the aircraft carrier that was one of the many at sea..

So...to me my family will always be remembered.......God bless all those who served and died so that you bloggers could be free.....

Sorry Joey, I don't get all nostalgic over American jingoism's.  A lot of death and destruction caused by blind nationalism.  Sure, I had family that served in WWII.  They realized that the "enemy" they were fighting didn't want to be fighting as much as them.  Makes you wonder...Why did they fight and kill?  ORDERS!

A good Christian supports their nation dropping nuclear weapons on hundreds of thousands of civilians.  I know one thing, Christian churches in America  won't give a sermon on August 6th, memorializing the mass slaughter of Japanese, or the American internment of Japanese.  Pearl Harbor was a military installation, Hiroshima and Nagasaki were cities.

Joey is right, I stand for nothing.  As a good American, I should bow my head and take a moment of silence for those that died on 12/7, and wipe my memory clean of the massacres that took place afterwards.

do what you want....we will respect you for what you believe....you don't have to throw all this crap in our faces...


Honor who you may...but be respectful at the same time of others and what they believe and stand for....
