In New York, those on minimum wage will just sign up for Medicaid. I know of a young woman who just did. She felt bad about it, but I told her that the government is ordering her to sign up for something, so the morons who supported this scheme will just have to reach in their pockets and pay for her to go to the doctor. The medicaid expansion is being paid for with free money from the feds, for a period of time. You know, the feds of the sequester, the shutdown, raising the debt ceiling, those feds. When the federal free money subsidy runs out, New York is going to pay for its biggest single budget item that just got a lot bigger, with rainbows and unicorns, so don't worry.
