Yup!  It's not very complicated.
Either Bumbler thinks his post is accurate or he sees that it's a lie...

Again, I ask:
Quoted from Box A Rox

So Bumbler, is your poster accurate or not???
Is your post what Feinstein said or not???

Bumbler forgot to include this statement from Connelly in the post he put up:
Quoted Text
How would you feel if you received a letter from the U.S. Government informing you that
because of a physical or mental condition that the government says you have it
is proposing to rule that you are incompetent to handle your own financial affairs?

Seems like this one sentence was not valuable to Bumbler trying to make it into a blanket
denial for ALL VETERANS!!!!

I read the bill and all the articles, and that was not the issue about what you posted...and you know that!
OKAY, I give...you are spinning everything around to cover up that what you posted was interpretation
and I have no energy to play your game. I could just sit here and agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong!

Not spinning at all.  You are looking for someone to post Feinstein's specific quote calling all veterans mentally ill.  It was her refusal to grant the same exemption she is willing to grant to retired law enforcement, and the premise to her argument for not granting the exemption to vets was PTSD.  So if the assault weapons ban was passed, ALL veterans would be banned, while ALL retired law enforcement would be exempt.

If you or any other veteran wanted to bu an AR15, you would be denied, while your retired town cop wouldn't.  Her reasoning? Returning Iraq vets with PTSD.  It doesn't matter that you are a Vietnam vet not suffering with PTSD, all vets are banned, just like the rest of the civilian population.

"If you or any other veteran wanted to buy (a gun), you would be denied"
"all vets are banned"
IT DOESN'T SAY THAT!!!

Notice I substituted "gun"...simply because an AR15 is considered and assault
weapon and ability to purchase them has nothing to do with being a Vet!

I said that.  I clearly stated that a retired cop can possess weapons in the ban which a veteran cannot.  Even though veterans have the same if not more training with that type of weapon than law enforcement.  It has all to do with vets, because it was vets requesting the same exemption.  What reason should veterans be declined the exemption?  They are properly trained to use them safely.  Why not give them the same access as retired law enforcement?

Quoted Text
Q: Did Sen. Dianne Feinstein say all military veterans are mentally ill and
should not be allowed to own guns?
A: No. She said veterans should not be exempt from her proposed assault
weapons ban, citing post-traumatic stress disorder as a concern. She did
not say all veterans suffer from PTSD or that all veterans should not own guns.

Please provide a link to prove your claim, because as I posted,
"Senator Feinstein stated neither that "all vets are mentally ill"
nor that "the government should prevent [veterans] from owning firearms";"
,
and I find NOWHERE that she makes the statement you claim!!!!

Fienstien quote:

SEN. DIANNE FEINSTEIN: If I understand this, this adds an exemption of retired military. As I understand our bill, no issue has arose in this regard during the 10 years the expired ban was in effect and what we did in the other bill was exempt possession by the United States or a department or agency of the United States. So that included active military.

The problem with expanding this is that, you know, with the advent of PTSD, which I think is a new phenomenon as a product of the Iraq War, it’s not clear how the seller or transferrer of a firearm covered by this bill would verify that an individual was a member, or a veteran, and that there was no impairment of that individual with respect to having a weapon like this.

So, you know, I would be happy to sit down with you again and see if we could work something out but I think we have to-- if you’re going to do this, find a way that veterans who are incapacitated for one reason or another mentally don’t have access to this kind of weapon.

I never said I hate the military.

Now you claim you never said that you hate me.

Unless you can produce my words saying I hate the military, then you are the ignorant accuser.

Feel free to post where I ever said that I hate anyone.

You just keep posting your venom directing it at me calling me the hater.

In reality, where you don't happen to reside, you are the ignorant accuser.

You just admitted being hateful.

And since reality still fails to elude your comprehension, I again post Feinstein's actual quoted words from the hearing on the proposed bill:

Fienstien quote:

SEN. DIANNE FEINSTEIN: If I understand this, this adds an exemption of retired military. As I understand our bill, no issue has arose in this regard during the 10 years the expired ban was in effect and what we did in the other bill was exempt possession by the United States or a department or agency of the United States. You hate Veterans (maybe specifically Vietnam Veterans)....admitting to being a person that would

spit on a Veteran is an act of hatred...of course you are too ignorant to understand that!!!!
