Huge house fire on rt 7 by golub warehouse entrance!!!

rt 7 closed from burdeck to dunnsville.

this fire should be a wake up call to party members and the unions and special interests they support

this fire and loss of life are a direct reflection  on the high taxes in Rotterdam - schools, town and county

this home is/was on the county auction block - because the owner could no longer afford the taxes that support

teachers retirements
police retirements
appointed officials raises - town clerk, police chief.....

when one cop cost the price of 3 in Rotterdam.........I am

$60k form age 20 -40 employee
$80k from age 40 to 60 retiree
$50k from age 60 -80 retiree
$30k from 80 til death retiree

plus medical

police chief at $120k a year looking to retire

~$8000 in property tax  for a $200k house is ridiculous

ROTTENdam is just one of many municipalities where the unions/government etc.........are costing the taxpayers tooooo much!
Taxes are increasing rapidly and home values are going down.
When it starts to cross the line and gets out of hand..........the folks just WALK AWAY....just like in the City of Schenectady....altho it is being done in large numbers across the country.
