It would be a bonus if the Walmart was a super center as it would also draw a lot of that riff-raff away from the Hannaford on Altamont Ave.

What was the last time you went down Crane St?  The riff raff is there to stay as the cancer spreads.

I know all about Crane St... my grandparents had a house on 3rd Ave and I lived there until I was 6.
What I was saying about Super Center only applies if the Altamont Ave Walmart closes...It's Walmart that attracts the riff-raff, not the SuperMarkets.

Exactly...Walmart would subsidize CDTA and increase bus traffic to WHEREVER Walmart decides to set up shop.  They will not leave their customers behind.  Those EBT cards will be sliding through those Walmart credit card readers.  They are not going to leave that money on the table.

So, Walmart would subsidize CDTA...and this is based on FACT or your ASSUMPTION...got any examples of them doing this historically?

Great...now show me support for your claim that Walmart would do this!

Just spoke with Doug McMillon, told him that Walmart WOULD subsidize CDTA
and he said he doesn't know where the crazy idea comes from
because he knows nothing about it.

The above is a total fabrication, just like what several on here
do consistently.

So I guess the rumors of the death of the mall are no longer unsubstantiated,

They also failed to mention the Mall is sitting on a graveyard in the auction announcement.

Death of a mall built on a graveyard, how appropriate.

Graveyard sign in 2018, here lies the Campbell family, Sears, K-Mart, TJ Maxx etc...

I actually went into the mall today around noon time on the end near K-Mart.

The food court is still operating except for the old McDonalds area.

You could easily ride a bike through the mall blindfolded and not hit a customer though.
