Noticed box jumped to Rand Paul, Birth control, and the all classic his cartoons. If the majority wants to raise minimum wage they could do so at any time, I don't think box understands that concept

Small businesses are lobbying congress to force them to increase their workers wages, working for the business they own?  They cannot do it by themselves...There must be a vote!

As stated box what are they waiting for, what exactly is stopping them to giving higher wages? You didn't think this through before posting did you

The minimum wage is a standard wage paid across the board.  Do you understand the concept???

This isn't about one employer or a few, it's about helping the entire class of people who work for minimum
wage, and helping the economy at the same time.

Yeah you're right according to you the majority back it so why aren't they upping their wages to set an example? As stated nothing is stopping them from RAISING THEIR WAGES, they DON'T have to wait for congress to pass a bill. Either the poll is incorrect or they don't buy into their own BS.

The DOW jones is at 17,000 and GDP IS DOWN 2.9% in the first quarter of 2014.  Where is the money?  Unemployment should be at historic lows or wages should be at historic highs.  Neither is the case.  Where is the money going into the stock market coming from?

Obama had to make sure Wall St and Banks recovered the money they lost during the recession.  He succeeded!

Yes a recession caused by the collapse of the housing market due to Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac that was under Dem supervision in Congress. That in turn caused the need to bailout the banks and Box blames Bush for all the problems caused the Dem controlled Congress that Bush had in his last two years of office.

So this "recession"... everything was fine... under W, until the Dems controlled congress, so that
was the beginning of the recession???  When the Dems took control of congress???
It's the Dems fault?

Bush told Congress that Fannie and Freddie were not solvent but the two people on the committee that oversaw the housing programs were Frank and Dodd, both Dems, assured Congress that all was well. Jimmy Carter was the beginning of the problem when he pushed for housing for low income buyers and got the law passed. Dems forced the banks to give loans to people that shouldn't have been able to get a loan and it was down the drain from there.

You are right, under old economic measurements, it's a depression.  And Obama was sure to pump the money back into Wall Street.  Romney would have done the same thing.

So it's your contention that the Bush Economic Meltdown was really not Bush's fault, but instead the
fault of the Democrats and Jimmy Carter... is that it???
