...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

McConnell Deal Includes Kentucky Kickback

October 16, 2013

The Senate Conservatives Fund (SCF) criticized U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY) Wednesday for allowing a $2 billion Kentucky earmark to be added to the debt deal he negotiated with U.S. Senator Harry Reid (D-NV). SCF Executive Director Matt Hoskins made the following statement:

"Americans are familiar with the 'Cornhusker Kickback' that Nebraska Senator Ben Nelson was given in exchange for his vote on Obamacare. Well now Kentucky Senator Mitch McConnell has an Obamacare earmark of his own.

"The McConnell-Reid deal not only funds Obamacare and suspends the debt limit, it also includes a provision in Section 123 that increases funding for the Olmsted Locks and Dam in Kentucky from $775 million to $2.9 billion.
"In exchange for funding Obamacare and raising the debt limit, Mitch McConnell secured a $2 billion Kentucky kickback.

"This is an insult to Kentucky families who don't want to pay for Obamacare and who don't want to shoulder any more debt.

"Mitch McConnell is trying to blame others for this abuse, but everyone knows he negotiated this deal and everyone knows he wrote the bill. If he didn't want the earmark included, he could have kept it out.

"Also, this isn't the first time he has supported funds for this project. He also requested $100 million for it in 2010.

"This is what's wrong with Washington and it's what's wrong with Mitch McConnell."

The only good thing about the teabaggers is that they're mostly all old, and will be dead soon, and their stupid ideas will die with them.

I think it's the opposite, once the statist boomers die and clear the system after they picked the carcass of America clean and robbed their children to maintain their lifestyles, the young generation will be able to hit the reset button.  Statism, collectivism, welfarism, and warfarism will die with the boomers.

The Average Age of FoxSnooze TeaBaggers is....

Quoted Text
Fox News, for the last two years, has had a median age
of 65-plus in its ratings both for the full day and for prime time.

Actually, the average age of FoxSnooze viewers is 'unknown', since their polling age questioned ends
at "65+".   That most certainly means that the average age is far beyond age 65.

The median age of all 3 major cable news networks iis 55 years old.  Boomers watch cable news, the youth get their news from the Internet.  Many I talk to that are in their 30's cancelled cable.  Not because they can't afford it, but because of the content.  They all lie, distort, and manipulate to benefit the corporatist state agenda.  They youth don't want to pay for propaganda, the boomers do.

Cissy loves to play with words (as long as they are in his favor)
Median means MIDDLE.  So if the range was 35 to 55 year olds, then the median would be 45.

AVERAGE on the other hand takes all groups and finds the total in each group then divides by
the number of quantities...
So if the range were 100 35 year olds and 500 55 year olds the AVERAGE would be 51.6.
while that MEDIAN would be 45.  (a huge difference)

We are comparing a group that even with a MEDIAN age of 55 to a group with a MINIMUM age of
65+.

Bumbler sees the Pot Generation as being 'hippies'!  Um Boom... take a look around at today's youth.
College age, successful and high income young people are doing weed.  Your view may have fit the
60's but the 60's are long gone.

I can cancel cable and get most of cable or national news on line.  Same data from a different source.

Drugs and Alcohol are the vehicle of the weak and unfulfilled. The mind altering effect of these substances is confirmation of that.
The "hippie" generation is still fueling the use of recreational drugs, the only drug that is seeing a increase with use with youth is Marijuana
http://nation.time.com/2013/09.....-americans-drug-use/

According to that story, only 7.3% of the population used recreational drugs last year. even if you double that to make of for people that won't admit, you are still only at 15%...hardly a percentage to say "everyones doing it"

There probably are "successful" youth that are doing weed, but not ones that work at places that mandate drug screenings as terms of employment..both initial and continuing.

The 20 somethings in my family were into the alcohol while in college, but now they are pretty much on the straight and narrow. No weed, no ecstasy, any of that stuff. Beer, mostly, like everybody else.
