Handing out guns to people who have the money but are insane or convicted dangerous felons is
asking to be shot.

A background check is a reasonable law that if done right places no more burden on the consumer
than a credit card check.

Federal gun database of all guns sold in the USA would do a lot to capture killers who are on our
streets today.

So conducting background checks on every American and creating a gun data base for every gun owner isn't paranoia?  You just statistically showed me the VAST number of gun owners and the VAST number of Americans in general, do not commit gun crime. But you still want to register the gun and conduct a background check?  You are a little suspicious of your neighbors?

I'll give you your line.  If you don't like the second amendment and like European gun laws, move there.  Quit whining, get over it already.

So again box which one of the things they say they won't do is a bad thing, you don't want the people disarmed right? you don't want foreign troops on our soil right?, you don't want people rounded up because of their race like back in WW2 right?

Nope!  I'm a strong supporter of the 2nd amendment.  I'll stay here and help defend it and make
it stronger with good gun laws.

There is a data base on every vehicle in the USA.  No problem.  There is a data base on every
social security number in the USA.  No problem.
People need cars, people need SS numbers, very few people need guns, but since we have the
RIGHT to bear arms in the USA and since gun violence is threatening many Americans, and
a data base on guns would help convict and help capture criminals, many of them murders...
a gun data base makes as much or maybe more sense than one on cars or SS.

Do you really believe the guns in this country could be tracked? Most when stolen the serial number is removed eliminating any tracking of the weapon. Also if you feel that way why don't you register all of your guns, I'm sure the government would love to know what you have.

So why won't you register your guns? Do you have something to hide, step up and show us how it is done, don't forget to scan some copies for us to prove you did it.

I have complied with all laws.  With a pistol permit any pistol I own is registered in NY State.
Long guns are not required to be registered.  If they do, I will register them.
Wouldn't you?

Oh wait.  You live in constant fear that there will be a knock on the door and it will be "YOUR GOVT".

There are paranoid Americans who won't use interstate highways because they take a pic of your
plate when you go through the toll booth.
I'm glad... less traffic for the sane drivers to contend with.

You want all guns registered so why not be the first brave one to step up, the reason is because you are full of it, you don't practice one damn word you preach and that has been proven time and time again on here.

Some of the cities/states that have the strictest gun laws have the most gun violence, Chicago, and LA for example. Enforce the gun laws that are on the books now, passing more laws aren't the answer.

OK Henry.  Where do I register my guns.  I have no idea.  Do you know?
Or are you just full of $hit about this?

Register right online on the Safe Act page or just go down to your local gun store and tell them you want the paperwork for a background check, that way their will be a record of your guns, ownership, and serial numbers of your firearms. Have fun.

Near as I can tell, the only requirement to register a gun is if it's an assault weapon.
Other than that, in NY State, you only need a background check to purchase, and does not apply to
existing guns.
I couldn't find a "gun registry", but since you did.  Send me the link for a gun registry, not for a
background check.
