I wonder if Senders or Cicero celebrated "Labor Day"?
I wonder if they have weekends off or receive overtime pay if they worked weekends or holidays?
I wonder if they have employer provided health care?
or
If they are safer in their workplace because of OSHA?
I wonder if they consider "weekends" as a Union won benefit.

I work weekends
I work holidays
I have healthcare provided by my employer that is at a good price because I 'put in my time'
Safer?....that depends on what dumbass co-workers are on the schedule that day

unions 'provided' the fulcrum through which political parties are able to garner votes and $$$

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

I also worked 'weekends' and got paid 1 1/2 overtime for Saturday and double time for Sunday.
I worked holidays and got paid holiday pay plus 1 1/2 overtime.
I had employer provided health care at reasonable rates.
In spite of OSHA and safety committee input, there still were injuries that were preventable.

Unions provided all these benefits.  With out a union, we'd have been no better than a WalMart
worker.

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

federal labor laws ONLY require 1 1/2 time for hours worked over 40....companies don't have to pay you for the
holiday......as for health care cost...how old are you?

so you're a union worker....that's WHAT % of the workforce? don't include government unions......or guilds
