Did I accuse you of racism. I asked a question. Why is this murder so interesting... while most go unnoticed. It's not a local murder, or has any ties to this area. What (if not race) is the reason for this story to get so much publicity?
Take for example any random day... August 1,2013. The LA Times shows 24 murders on that day, yet not one are posted on this board. Those murders are of various races, ages and causes... but not one word. I wonder why???

To tell you the truth, I'm often disappointed in your posts. You seem to do little research and post your 'opinions' as if they were fact. Many posts are agenda driven with little regard to readily available facts.

This story isn't getting huge publicity, not like the Zimmerman case at least. its interesting because of the extreme amount of violence these 2 used on a 88 year old man. Maybe the point of this thread was to show others those "unnoticed" murders, so I don't get it, post about it and your racist, don't post it and its just another unnoticed murder we should be talking about

This is a tragic murder and notable on it's own. So was the Trayvon Martin Murder. What gives this murder legs? Why is this murder on every Conservative blog as compared to a Black on Black murder, or a Hispanic on White murder. Why does this murder stand out? They've caught the perps... there is no pressing danger to the public... Why post THIS murder? Other than 'race' what is there notable about this murder?

Murders in Detroit??? Has no special significance for me except I know for a time Detroit was one of the worst in the USA. Much of their problem is "GUNS". Guns in Detroit are easy to get and there is a whole "import" business running guns to Detroit from the south.
