Box still does NOT understand the scientific method and the difference between Theory and Fact. And the fact that by calling something a theory, one is not saying that one disputes or believes it could not be a truthful answer to some scientific question.
The fact of the matter is that science is all about questions. Theories are attempts to answer the question, and even if a lot of evidence suggests a particular theory may be accurate, REAL science always keeps an open mind that the question is never completely answered or that what we believe are answers may not be the WHOLE answer.

Acceptance of evolution is not the same as a religious belief. Scientists cannot accept scientific conclusions on faith alone because all such conclusions must be subject to testing against observations. Thus, scientists do not “believe” in evolution in the same way that someone believes in God.

How long did man believe the earth was flat? How long did they believe the sun revolved around the earth? What will science say about evolution and climate change 1000 years from now? Will today's scientists become tomorrows flat earthers? It's amazing that such a progressive like box would speak in such absolutes. He sounds very...conservative...clinging to his belief in scientific absolutes.

The church took 300 years to finally agree that Galileo was right on his science. Most scientists of his day agreed with Galileo, but the govt of it's time (much like the Right today) denied the science.
The flat earthers were always a minority of scientists. Go to the ocean... watch a ship return to shore. You will see the top of the mast first then the rest will come into view from TOP TO BOTTOM. CAUSE THE EARTH IS ROUND! Un... even in primitive times, it isn't 'rocket science'.
The ignorant believed in sea monsters, whales swallowing people then puking them up (still alive) and the flat earth. Science knew better but kept their mouth shut or face the inquisition.

Yeah its really oppressed, last I looked we have a mind of our own and can decide for our self what we believe or not believe, evolutionist and global warming theorist has yet to convince me, its not my fault if their research is lacking answers. Then add to the fact that they messed with their numbers on purpose really doesn't give me much trust in them, if they had to fix their info to make it match their theories maybe that should be a clue to look elsewhere.

Moving formally to rectify a wrong, Pope John Paul II acknowledged in a speech today that the Roman Catholic Church had erred in condemning Galileo 359 years ago for asserting that the Earth revolves around the Sun.
The address by the Pope before the Pontifical Academy of Sciences closed a 13-year investigation into the Church's condemnation of Galileo in 1633, one of history's most notorious conflicts between faith and science.
