Early Christianity may be divided into 2 distinct phases: the apostolic period, when the first apostles were alive and led the Church, and the post-apostolic period, when an early episcopal structure developed, and persecution was periodically intense. The Roman persecution of Christians ended in AD 313 when Constantine the Great decreed tolerance for the religion. He then called the First Council of Nicaea in AD 325, beginning of the period of the First seven Ecumenical Councils.

but but but,,,,,WACO was a cult....

The issue started off as a tax issue not a gun issue as some would like you to believe, every gun owned by the Davidians was legal. The argument was they were assembling full-auto weapons, which is LEGAL as long as you pay a $200 tax on each gun. The problem was the Davidians weren't converting any firearms and the warrant that was issued was sold under false probable cause information. After the Davidians were burned alive no illegal firearms were found, no destructible devises were found, no parts to create illegal firearms were found, to cover their fck up they tried to smear the group anyway possible, even trying to slander them as child molesters.

So judging by the last few posts by Henry and Cicero...
It would be acceptable for me to go out and kill a group of people if I thought it would be "pay back" for some
action by those people.
It's acceptable to blow up the Murrah building, because the Feds (MISTAKENLY OR OTHERWISE) killed some
other group of people.

Quoted Text
~If I were an American Indian, I would be justified by blowing up the buildings that Cicero
or Henry live in or work in, simply because at some previous time, their group (AMERICANS) killed
my group.~

Quoted Text
~If I were a black American, it would be justified and acceptable to lynch Henry and Cicero,
because in the past some members of their group (WHITE AMERICANS) lynched blacks.~

Quoted Text
~If I were a UNION MEMBER it would be acceptable for me to kill Cicero, Henry and their
entire neighborhood, because in the past, some Union Members were killed by non union Americans.~

Is this really the world you live in???

Show me where me or cicero justified McVeigh's actions, neither of us did. I just wonder what world you live in where you think blowback doesn't exist, justified or not.

I've justified neither violent action.  You've justified the Feds murder of 76 peope while executing a search warrant with tanks and chemical weapons.  I just explained how military veteran McVeigh rationalized his violent response to the federal government's violent actions against people that didn't pay taxes on their guns.

I justified the wackos at WACO?
Nope.  Waco is your thing not mine.  Waco was a tragedy that could have been avoided.  Who is to blame?
IMO, both parties involved.

Yes, you've done it many times.  You've just dehumanized 20 dead children at Waco by calling them wackos.  The children's only crime was being born in a house the Feds were raiding to collect money.

Yup, it could have been avoided if wacko Janet Reno didn't order an assault with tanks and chemical weapons on a building full of women and  children, just  to execute a warrant on unpaid fees on guns.  The same Janet Reno that proudly proclaimed on national TV that sanctions against Iraq that resulted in the death of an estimated 500k innocent Iraqis was justified.  Janet Reno is a psychopath killing children in the tune of hundreds of thousands.

YEAH...and the Branch Davidians were wackos, and Janet Reno and the federal government are the sane ones.  Only in your warped view of the world.

Yes plural.  More than One... Several.  Not just one WACKO.

The WACKOS at Waco were the (alleged) adults who could have avoided this tragedy, but
instead risked their lives and that of their children...  but the WACKOS got what they wanted.
Extremists now consider them to be heroes.
