How do federal, state, and local governments deal with mass murder by semi?  The only difference I see is that one person driving a semi was deadlier than one person using an "assault rifle".

The police ran toward the shooter because they were the targets of the shooter.  If it the target was gays in a night club or people watching a movie in a movie thearer(like in Aurora), the cops would have surrounded the area and waited hours until it was safe to try to apprehend the shooter.

The Supreme Court has already ruled that a cop is not required to risk their lives to save the lives of others.  Please stop spreading that fable.
