Ahhhh...It doesn't matter.  It's good to see states balkanizing and not recognizing federal laws(marijuana laws) and not recognizing other state licenses.  It's good to know that a Virginian with a conceal carry permit is now a criminal when they cross into Delaware(and visa versa).  Virginians voted to turn conceal carry gun owners in their own state into criminals when they travel to 25 other states.

It never matters for you...you just spin, twist, distort and then redirect everything the way you want....
HEY WAIT, ARE YOU DONALD TRUMP??????

Nothing twisted about it...I enjoy seeing states prohibit a recognized license in one state and making it criminal in another. I support all states doing this for EVERYTHING.  I'd like to see one state ban guns completely and another state make ALL GUNS LEGAL.

^^LIKE!

We are advised NOT to judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, but we are encouraged to judge ALL gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics.   Funny how that works.

Gun Violence Tax

A judge upheld Seattle’s new tax on firearms and ammunition sales on Tuesday, rejecting a challenge from
the National Rifle Association claiming the measure violated a state law barring municipalities from enacting
firearm legislation.

The Seattle City Council unanimously approved a “gun violence tax” on sellers of firearms and ammunition in
August, directing proceeds toward violence prevention programs and research beginning in January 2016.

The first order of business is to appoint a friend or family member or party loyalist to head up the "violence prevention program".  Most likely a no-show job that has a 6 figure salary.  One requirement for the position is to tithe 10% of his or her salary party that has the majority on the Seattle City Council.

Yes, it's a nothing post in response to a do nothing city tax.  The tax is a revenue generator that will do absolutely nothing to reduce violence.  It's a political scam to extort money from a group of people that are politically unpopular.  Because in democracy, if 51% doesnt like the other 49%, the 51% can legally extort money from the 49%.  It's a great system as long as you aren't in the 49% trying to make a living.

A companion measure requires gun owners to report cases of lost and stolen firearms to police.
(See, more good gun laws)

Great...A lost and found for guns.  That should cost a few hundred thousand dollars in salaries to run.  And of course, there will be no measurement to see if these programs have any impact on violence.  And if it is mentioned that the program is a failure. As all government programs eventually are.  The reason the program had no measureable impact is because it is underfunded.  In Government Failure = More Money.

Gunhugger Quick Draw McGraw fires gun inside Airport....No criminal charges, just possible disciplinary actions.
Quoted Text
Iowa Cop Shot His Gun In The Airport To Practice His 'Quick Draw' Skills

An Iowa police officer confirmed that he inadvertently fired his gun inside the Des Moines International Airport on Dec. 23.

The event happened around 5 p.m.

Officer Brady Pratt of the Des Moines Police Department said he was standing next to the refrigerator, opposite the west wall when he drew his service weapon from his holster to practice his "quick draw" skills, according to a police report.

He "unknowingly had his finger on the trigger and discharged a round into the ceiling tile."

The report shows the bullets went through the wall, up the ceiling and traveled out into an adjacent hallway.

No one was wounded, but another police officer witnessed the incident and Pratt reported the accident to a supervisor, according to UPI.

"Discipline is always a possibility when [police officers] are negligent. The level will be determined by the circumstances. There will be a very thorough review," said Sgt. Paul Parizek, Des Moines Police Department spokesman.

It is still unclear how many people were inconvenienced by the event while traveling for the holidays or what the punishment will be for Pratt.
