Laws to prevent the mentally ill access to guns is just common sense, but that won't stop mass shootings.
A better predictor of mass shooters is those who have exhibited violence rather than those who
have mental illness.
If someone has a history of any kind of violent or assaultive behavior, that is a better predictor
of future violence than having a mental health diagnosis. If someone has a conviction for a violent
misdemeanor their access to guns should be limited or banned.
Stop being an ignorant imbecile. Any moron above the age of 10 can kill a busload of people with a quart bottle of gasoline. Taking guns only serves to enrage more crazies. |

Ok...So what is the solution?
Ya gotta start somewhere. In the last 5 years, over 15,700 guns were sold in the USA "Legally" to someone without a completed background check. Sound like a loophole to you??? There is legislation proposed to tighten up the time limit and restrictions on background checks. An easy fix, and a start. |
