LMAO @ "PUSHING GUNS UNDERGROUND"!!!

There are enough guns in this country so that every person... every man, every woman, every teenager,
every toddler, every infant... can have a gun!

"PUSHING GUNS UNDERGROUND"  yea that's a real problem!

I thought the entire purpose of responsible gun laws was to prevent people that shouldn't have them from getting them.

I guess you're expecting a person who is about to commit a illegal act to be prevented from committing it just because he can't get a gun legally.

If they can't get it legally, they'll get it illegally..underground...

The "ILLEGAL, UNDERGROUND" guns you refer to are there BECAUSE of weak or non existent gun laws.
In many states, all you need to buy a gun is the cash.

So, there's no illegal underground gun market in NY or NYC? REALLY???

We are at war

Quoted Text
"We are engaged in a war in this country. It is a war between rational, responsible people
and self-interested zealots; a war between good and evil. It is a war to decide whether we will
continue to let the senseless tragedy of gun violence continue. It is a war to put reasonable
safeguards in place to prevent incidents like that which occurred in Oregon yesterday.

On one side of that war is a group that is successfully fighting to ensure that a discussion to
try to find solutions never takes place.  An organization that had at its founding the core mission
to teach firearm safety, now has set itself on a course to prevent any laws from being enacted
to do just that. And some of our legislators are complicit in this crime. Is the support of a fringe
element of the NRA so important that they are willing to accept our children as collateral damage?"

Cuomo: Congressional Dems should threaten a government shut-down over gun control.  Times Union http://blog.timesunion.com/cap.....wn-over-gun-control/

Quoted Text
It’s not the first time that Gov. Andrew Cuomo has called on Congress to pass tougher gun control laws but on Friday, in the wake of Thursday’s killings at a community college in Oregon, the governor upped the ante.

He suggested that Congressional Democrats borrow a page from their Republican counterparts and threaten a government shut down unless tougher gun control laws are passed.

Great idea.  This gov is nuts.  Why hurt the elderly, hold up their SS checks that is their money they put in there and hurt the disabled who live on the money they may have put into the SS system too when they were able to work.  Doesn't make sense.  Then again he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and does not know what living in poverty is like. Our Congress folks will not feel the pain.

Everyone should have the right to own a gun.  I can understand increasing documentation to own a gun but that is not what shutting congress down will do.

Some folks are not mentally ill they just are nasty people with warped views that is the other beef I have.

Close congress then how do our elderly and disabled get their medications?  How will they buy food to eat? How will they pay their taxes and umpteen fees that cities like Schenectady push on them?

We should be protecting our elderly and disabled not beating them up.

If the government should shut down.....it DOES NOT effect entitlements like ss.

it would effect things like parks being shut down.

but it won't shut down cause they know folks are misinformed and believe the lie about entitlements being halted....AND....most important......IT'S ELECTION TIME!!!!

As far as the Oregon shooting....it was aimed at Christ followers.

something the lame stream media will NOT report for obvious reasons!!

in either case...there are some very very very evil folks out there on all sides of politics, religion, culture and race., that live in a very very evil society/nation/world.

hang on to your seats folks.....cause you ain't seen nuthin' yet!!!

Seems legit!

Oh, and another success story for 'Gun Free Zones' !

The anti-Christ shooter is a teetotaling Nazi

Chris Harper-Mercer Photo: MySpace

Chris Harper-Mercer, the gunman who went on Thursday’s rampage at an Oregon college, idolized the Nazis and the IRA, despised organized religion — and talked of how killing could bring a person fame.

“I have noticed that so many people like [Vester Lee Flanagan] are alone and unknown, yet when they spill a little blood, the whole world knows who they are,” Harper-Mercer wrote in a blog post, referring to the man who in August murdered a reporter and a cameraman on live TV in Virginia, according to CBS News.

“A man who was known by no one is now known by everyone. His face splashed across every screen, his name across the lips of every person on the planet, all in the course of one day. Seems like the more people you kill, the more you’re in the limelight.”

He also showed interest in the Virginia Tech and Sandy Hook school shootings, having recently shared documentaries about the massacres with people online.

A profile on an online dating site, Spiritual Passions, shows the 26-year-old Harper-Mercer “doesn’t like organized religion” and identified as a “conservative Republican.”

Modal Trigger

On his MySpace page, he posted a number of pictures related to the Irish Republican Army.

“He appears to be an angry young man who was very filled with hate,” one source told The New York Times.

A man who answered the phone at the home of a relative Harper-Mercer told The Post that the young man had previously lived in California’s LA County but had moved out of state.

At a press conference about the shootings at Umpqua Community College late Thursday, Douglas County Sheriff John Hanlin refused to utter the shooter’s name and said the focus should be on the victims and their families.

Harper-Mercer, who lived in Winchester, Ore., identified himself as mixed race. On the dating site, he wrote that he does not smoke or drink.

His name on the site was Ironcross45, alluding to a Nazi military badge.

He also used the moniker on the website iOffer to laud the excellent “customer service” received when ordering a leather Nazi SS officer’s cap.

Ah yes...the legendary Conservative Gun Free Zone...

There were armed GunHuggers in the area when the shooting started.
They waited it out and the police got the shooter.

So... an armed "good guy with a gun was at the school...
and ....
and....
Nuttin'.
They didn't want to risk shooting an innocent bystander or be shot by the police
when they were in the school with an active shooter.

So much for a "Good Guy With A Gun"

Chris Harper-Mercer, the gunman who attacked Umpqua Community College and killed
nine people, had long struggled with mental illness and was described as a "hate-filled"
individual with:
anti-government,
anti-religious
and
white supremacy leanings

WOW! Again, he sounds a lot like some posters on this board!

A total of 13 weapons were found at the college where the attack took place and at Harper-Mercer's apartment.
