the insurance industry is an oxymoron.....

what exactly are they insuring? life? property? medical bills? what?

the insurance industry is the BIGGEST gambling palace in America....you're funny....what conscience it makes in a human to think
about the insurance and having/using a gun.....

so let me get this right, you want the insurance industry to be part of the justice system already set in place for those who commit
alleged crimes, get arrested, charged, tried and sentenced? Help me understand why that isn't enough for you?
you say "yes'em master, may I have another"?

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

Since so many people are injured or killed by cars,
auto liability  insurance is mandatory.

So many people (Americans) are injured or killed by guns,
gun liability insurance should also be mandatory!

umm, what about the illegal gun owners, who BTW, who do the majority of the killing ? you know.. the 94% of TOTAL killings not commited with a legally obtained gun?

You must separate legal gun deaths and injuries from criminal gun deaths and injuries.

By far, more innocent people are killed or injured by government guns, than by all the legal non-government guns.

Government employees that carry weapons should be required to carry mandatory malpractice insurance.

The only case where legal non-government guns still kill or injure massive amounts are in former and current government military is suicides, and should be counted as government related gun deaths, not non-government legal gun deaths.

You keep hyping convoluted facts into a ball of shiit.

Plus, out of all the legal gun owners, the vast majority of deaths and injuries are from current and former military personnel, who either go apeshit or commit suicide.

Clearly current and former military must be screened more closely before being issued weapons permits.

So those (like many on this board) who have illegal assault weapons (not registered in NYS)
are among the 94% of CRIMINALS who you are including in your "majority of killings" group.

only because people like you who believe in the legislative 'speak'....you know, the speak it and it shall be done...
just because something is illegal doesn't make it wrong
just because something is legal doesn't make it right

have you not learned that in all your years on earth?

you sound like a church preacher "everyone is a sinner" "he without sin should cast the first stone"....wow! you're one of those
humans that actually believes everyone else is a sinner but you are a saint...you can't understand that it just makes
no rational sense.

scenario:

you have a 'legal' gun. your home gets broken into you fear for your life because the person who broke in has a gun. You shot
and kill the person.

you have an 'illegal' gun. your home gets broken into you fear for your life because the person who broke in has a gun. You shot
you kill the person.

what do think the outcome would be? come on you pious saint....tell me your lightening is purer than mine.

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

I don't think too many on this board have killed using an assault weapon, but if they're GOP, you just assume that they have... but...
Considering the percentage of ALL guns deaths committed by rifle and/or assault weapon have averaged less than 5% consistently year after year, even assuming that ALL of them were illegally obtained, it still really doesn't alter the overall statistic too much.

Boxy is a hypocrite on multiple levels:
1. On guns, which is well documented in this thread
2. On Bigotry... he rails against minority bigotry, but thinks its OK to label all white people south of the Mason Dixon line as racist by default
3. On climate change - thinks his recycling and small housing footprint offsets his blatant, optional burning of fossil fuels in his jet ski and snowmobile.

Tbird jumps to some amazing conclusions when he is trolling...
But,
It's easier than actually posting an actual fact or question.

As far as your Hypocrisy, your posts speak for themselves.

Yes... I don't disagree.  Illegal guns (like those assault weapons, or pistols, or
guns owners not in compliance with the SAFE ACT) commit a large percentage of
the killers.

Just think if we had good gun laws with all states working together to monitor those illegal
sales... We might reduce the number of illegal guns and (by your statistic) reduce the
number of killings.

HUH!  I hope posting slower helps Tbird understand what he's posting, it might really help!

So... By his (SloMo)posts, can we assume that Tbird is against drivers licenses and a test required
to get a drivers license?  He posts... getting a drivers license  STOPPED NOTHING!!!!
Does Tbird advocate dumping all DUI Laws?  Probably... They STOPPED NOTHING!!!!
Should we scrap background checks before buying a weapon??? He supposes that they
STOPPED NOTHING!!!!

Pretty much most laws fall into Tbird's rant... breaking & entering, armed robbery, bank robbery,
laws against murder... by his account... they ALL STOPPED NOTHING!!!!

Can you picture living in Tbirds world?  Ya just do what ya want cause any law... STOPPED NOTHING!!!!

Or... we could take a more reasonable course, and pass and enforce good laws.

Good drug laws with all the states working together did not stem the flow of drugs and availability one bit.

Even you, admit that laws banning abortions won't stop abortions.

But you think that by magic, the illegal guns will disappear if you put enough laws in place.

Laws do not stop anything, they merely allow you to punish those who dare not obey.
