That is why THE COLLECTIVE GOVERNMENT is in agreement with pumping tax payer money into wall street/stock market to keep the rich richer and the poor poorer. THE COLLECTIVE GOVERNMENT is using OUR money to prop up the stock market to protect THEIR investments!!!

They are BOTH one in the same.....wake up sheople!!!

"An approach to the debt ceiling that says one will not vote for its extension
unless ObamaCare is defunded is the political equivalent of playing Russian roulette
with all the chambers of the gun loaded. It is the ultimate no-win strategy."

Screw the TeaBaggers!

Quoted Text
Majority Leader Harry Reid took to the Senate floor and issued a battle cry for all Democrats,
‘We’re not going to bow to Tea Party anarchists who deny the mere fact that Obamacare is the law.’

Sen. Reid (D-NV) gave John Boehner and his House Republicans two choices. Republicans can
accept a funding bill that doesn’t defund Obamacare, or they can shutdown the government.
Reid said, “We will not bow to Tea Party anarchists who refuse to accept that the Supreme
Court ruled that Obamacare is constitutional.”

I don't know anyone who is afraid of a government shutdown, once people hear that the military, defense, border security is not effected they could care less.

Sen. Ted Cruz on Sunday warned Senate Republicans that refusing to filibuster a bill
that defunds President Barack Obama’s health care reform law “is a vote for Obamacare,”
and he also advised House Republicans to “shut down the military” if they had to.

I hope that there isn't a shutdown,
But,
In the long run, a US gov't shutdown may be a good thing.  It will speed the demise of the TeaBaggin
Republicans into oblivion.

Or it will show how useless the government actually is and people will go on like every other day without noticing anything different.

Check back to the Newt, and ask him how it worked out for the GOP the last time these Zealots
pushed this issue.

the Dems are just letting the Reps do what they are doing because their life style will still remain status quo just like the Reps

Read Henry's post... It says a lot about Henry's perspective:

"I don't know anyone who is afraid of a government shutdown,"

I know people who are for the shutdown wholeheartedly, but most are against it.  I know people
who don't care one way or the other.  I even know one person who wants the govt shut down
forever regardless of the consequences.  Most that I know hope some reasonable settlement
can be found that helps everyone.

Henry doesn't know anyone who is afraid of a govt shutdown.
Apparently Henry only knows people like himself.  Strange!

The latest findings released Monday by Pew Research Center found 71 percent of tea party
Republicans want lawmakers who share their views to stand by their principles even if doing
so leads to a government shutdown. Only 20 percent of tea partiers said they want those
lawmakers to compromise, even if it leads to a budget with which they disagree.

Republicans in general were more divided, but a plurality — 49 percent — still said they would
rather have their lawmakers stand by their principles rather than compromise.

Those views separate the GOP from both their Demcratic counterparts and the country as a
whole. According to Pew, 57 percent of all Americans would prefer lawmakers who share their
views to compromise, while only a third said they'd prefer them to stand by their principles
even if it shut down the government.

Americans by a wide margin oppose shutting down the government or defaulting
on the national debt in order to force the defunding of Obamacare, according to a new poll.

The CNBC All-America Economic Survey found 59 percent of respondents opposed those
scenarios, with only 19 percent supporting. Another 18 percent were unsure.
