So you are running away from the Sarah Palin "Jerry Springer" episode???

I didn't give a sh*t about Sarah Palin 6 years ago, why now?

I'm just curious what websites you go to that post this story.  And even more fascinating is, you actually took time to read it and repost it.

I read or at least scan lots of political sites.  Some from the Rabid Right, some from the Extreme Left,
and many in between.
I will read just about anything ... Except that I seldom read any of Senders or L4Life's posts.

Palin was pushed on America as a serious candidate, which says a lot about those who promoted her
in politics.

Pushed?  She was selected "democratically".  There is no promotion.  Just pure representation for the American people.

It's a wonderful system.  And you wonder why I don't bother voting.  I think you may have inadvertently answered it.

Cissy always gets it wrong.  The Reps (or any other party) can choose whoever they want to run for office.
A good example, John McCain was running against GWB in 2000.  The NY REP delegation shut McCain out
of the NY Primary.   In most states, you must be a party member to vote in that primary.

Gingrich Not Happy with GOP
Newt Gingrich is not thrilled by the current state of the Republican party.

Said Gingrich:
"The fact that we do not have positive themes and positive issues is going to cost us seats
this fall because moderates and independents aren't going to turn out. It's an enormous mistake."
He added: "You have to sound like you're more than anti-Obama, and you're more than some ...
politician whose primary role in life is to raise money for your consultant to buy attack ads. It's pathetic ...
and it's turning people off."

California Democrats' support for Obama skids to lowest level yet
John Wildermuth
Updated 9:14 am, Tuesday, September 2, 2014
=

In what could be ominous news for Democratic candidates in the November election, President Obama's popularity in California has skidded to the lowest level of his presidency, according to a new Field Poll.

The survey found that 45 percent of registered voters approved of the job Obama is doing, only a couple of ticks above the 43 percent who disapprove.

That's a solid drop from the 50 percent to 39 percent rating that the poll found in June. It's also far below the 62 percent who believed Obama was doing a good job at the start of his second term in early 2013.

The numbers are even worse among likely voters, those expecting to cast ballots in November. For the first time since he was elected in 2008, a plurality of those voters are unhappy with the work Obama is doing in Washington.

While Obama won't have to face the voters again, his growing unpopularity could affect Democrats who are on the ballot this year.

Todd Kincannon, the former executive director of the South Carolina Republican party,
said that people infected with the Ebola virus "need to be humanely put down immediately."
WPIX reports.

Said Kincannon: "The protocol for a positive Ebola test should be immediate execution and
sanitation of the whole area. That will save lives."
