You can't say that about the strip mall on the corner of Chrisler and Altamont.  Whoever planned the I-890 exit did a lousy job, you can't get off I-890 and drive down Chrisler towards Altamont.

Um, you get off I-890 at Michigan, take a left, go straight to Altamont, take a left, drive a few feet and you are there.

LESS THAN ONE MILE!

2 TO 3 MINUTES at most!!!!!!!!]

You are so extremely DESPERATE to take the blame off your dems in the city/county/plex who are causign MASSIVE FAILURE in the city -- EVIDENCE is the DRASTIC DROP in tax base, falling home values, falling home sales, falling home prices, increased taxes, reduced essential city service, taxpaying businesses going out of business, DECADES OLD TAXPAYING businesses failing while the taxpayer subsidized businesses are opening and their wealthy cronies of YOUR DEMS are getting richer.

And I have provided overwhelming EVIDENCE to support my comment.

When are you going to provide one teeny weeny shred of evidence of things you say?

too many resturants and pizza joints......some can cook...some cannot.....and they pass their lower grade food menu  on to paying customers/

did you ever wonder what exactly grades of products are being put into the food you eat??.....anyone here ever have a resturant...

not the same as it was years ago, when cooks bought the best....and not "lower" brand of product......

commercial on TV has Pennell's in Saratoga charging $18 + for lasagna.....outrageous....must be imported from Italy....

just sayin'

We have 3 excellent Italian restaurants to choose from.

Petta's, Ferrari's and Canali's.

All have excellent quality food and have been around forever.

Oh sure, there's Civitello's too, but who wants to drive that far into Schenectady.

Most of the people that I know want a VARIETY of cuisines and restaurants to choose from.  Three Italian restaurants does not constitute variety.  And one of those restaurants you named will NEVER get any business from my family ever again.

Of course, you left out the absolute best restaurant in the city - Dolce Vita - and the absolute best restaurant in the county - The Turf Tavern.  That being said, we still need a good German restaurant and a good Polish restaurant.

The turf is a nice affordable restaurant, with nice specials... to call it the best in the County is a stretch...a big one.
The Bears Steakhouse in Duanesburg lays the Turf to waste...

I guess it is a matter of personal taste and personal experience.  Not a big fan of the The Bears, and we have been well treated by the Gatta Family for years.  Whether it is Sunday Dinner for 3 or 4 people or a large family get together, we have never been disappointed at the Turf Tavern.

Of course he praises any restaurant that is a major tax delinquent, right?   Do you need the evidence?

TOTAL SILENCE

we still need ..... and a good Polish restaurant.

DV claims to be Polish, he claims to be such a good cook, he has so often claimed that businesses in downtown failed because of poor management rather than because they are required to pay their own taxes PLUS the taxes of the millionaires's businesses downtown, and he claims to have graduated from college.

You would think that this guy who allegedly knows so much about business, cooking and Polish would open a Polish restaurant himself.    You'd think with all the brown nosing he does, all the praising he give his dems for taxing homeowners so high that they lose their homes, etc, that his dems and plex would give him a building, totally renovate it (or build new), all the equipment and furniture, make it tax exempt, and DV would just walk in and start cooking.   Oh wait, "antieeeeeeeeeee, can you cook for me????   Please, pretty please with sugar on it."

Tiny Dinosaur.. Second hand toddler stuff.  IMO these kind of second hand businesses usually don't last long.  And we stopped their a few times.

they are all over the place...it's like legitimizing garage sales in plazas.....but that strip has a giant real estate sign there.
