While I am no fan of government censorship, I can see where it is problematic for doctors, psychiatrists and psychologists to be rendering advice on radio and tv and in newspapers.
First, many people are just plain lacking in functioning gray matter between their ears and believe EVERYTHING that these celebrity advice givers give, whether it is medically/scientifically sound or not, and whether it actually applies to the whole population or just to the specific person being given the specific advice.
Second, these celebrity advice givers either don't or rarely ever have any actual physical contact with the persons that they are giving advice.  Thus, they really don't have the opportunity to actually examine the person, review medical history and other pertinent information (medical test as an example) before rendering a "diagnosis" and offering a "treatment" or "prescription."
Third, who, other than a producer or publisher interested in selling a show or a publication, has the authority to determine who is and who is NOT qualified to dispense such advice?

Who has that "authority"?  Some politically appointed bureaucrat or a politician?  Lets not pretend either are anymore righteous than the producer and publisher.

there are snake oil salespersons EVERYWHERE.....including our so called 'experts'....while the value of information is
higher than that of any monetary system...the problem lies in the fact that humans are trained from birth to
FOLLOW...that there IS someone with better info/choices than themselves....the ability to distinguish where the
individual and the mass separate is so blurred that we have made fools out of most of the population...ie: hollywood
is a grand example along with sports figures and the like.....

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

Only the GOVERNMENT decides what you get to hear! Sound familiar?

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

censorship and propaganda has been alive and well for decades upon decades! And we the sheople bought it hook line and sinker.....And it obviously didn't matter if it was the dems or reps in control at the time.

We were all lied to when we were told that we were sending our young men and women to 'honorable wars'....bullsh!t!!! From WWI, to WWII to Korea, to vietnam, to desert storm, to iraq, to afghan, so syria, to libya...blah blah blah!!

How more laws were created to protect the people when today crime and social unrest and morals is at an all time high.

How all of the trillions in bailouts would save jobs and the economy...DETROIT IS BANKRUPT!! How there were WMD!!! How higher taxation was being patriotic!!!

Thru censorship and propaganda, we have all been brainwashed into being the little rats on the wheel and in the maze following that piece of cheese!!

Censorship is nothing new.....only now via the internet are we leaning how we have all been played like pawns on a chess board.
