Never call police to deal with the mentally ill, they have no clue as to how to relate to them.
of course they don't. they are NOT healthcare workers. they are paramilitary goons, that's what they are trained to do. this is why the 'mentally challenged' are institutionalized. To protect themselves from the rest of society NOT to protect society from them.

There is no question these cops had every intention of killing this guy as soon as they got the call. Did you notice how many round the cop spent with his assault pistol? They HAD to kill him. Killing people is what makes them feel strong. Taking lives is their way. Never call the police unless every other option is used, and you HAVE to make sure the mentally ill person is killed. Because that is what they will do- kill him or her.

Mental illness is just another word for non compliant. Everybody is mentally ill now. All it takes is one cop to say a perp was behaving erratically and a govt paid shrink to validate it - and WHAMO state sponsored murder is justified.

Miami police kill 2 unarmed suspects by shooting disabled car 377 times police
In an attempt to apprehend a possible suspect in Miami FL. cops opened continuous fire on an unarmed suspect’s vehicle. While occupied by the suspect and an innocent passenger, the car was impaled with several hundred bullets.
Witnesses describe the incident as a chaotic and frenzied show of police force and also said that the vehicle’s 2 occupants were trying to surrender. But that did not stop a total of 23 police officers from firing at least 377 shots at the vehicle.
The officers’ bullets not only hit the suspects, but also several neighboring houses, businesses, and vehicles.
The robbery suspect, Adrian Montesano, had his vehicle pinned between a utility pole and a tree following a pursuit at approximately 5:00 a.m. Dozens of officers had participated in the chase.
As the blue Volvo remained stuck with no hopes of moving, officers aimed their rifles towards it from every angle. The officers tensely waited with weapons aimed for roughly two minutes.
Suddenly, out of nowhere, one of the officers opened fire. The gunshots caused other officers to join in.
The men inside the car managed to survive the initial onslaught. The driver was the only one suspected of a crime. The passenger’s only mistake was being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

After an innocent bystander named Anthony Vandiver had his house shot by police in the initial blasts, he ran to an upstairs window and had a perfect view down at the blue Volvo disabled in front of his house.
Mr. Vandiver told CBS-4 Miami, “They said, ‘put your hands up!’ And the guys were still moving after they shot, like maybe 50-60 times, and the guys tried to put their hands up, and as soon as they put their hands up, it erupted again.”
As the suspects raised their hands following officers’ commends, another intense volley of gunfire was launched. This time, much greater than before. The frenzied gunfire continued rapidly for 25 full seconds as dozens of officers emptied their magazines.
In all, a total of at least 377 rounds had been fired, from 23 separate officers.
The attack was so poorly executed that 2 different officers were shot by other cops stray bullets. One cop was shot in the leg and another was grazed in the head. There was so much gunfire that the noise ruptured the eardrums of two other officers.
I think 400 rounds fired at a Volvo is protocol. If it was a Chevy, it may be 200 rounds. Volvo's have that roll cage you have to shoot through. The cops should receive an award.
