Not one real lake in the entire state!  Natural beauty my a$$!

Spoken like someone who has never actually visited Texas and experienced its diversity of natural beauty.

BoxofCrap, like most left wing nuts and 2 year olds, hates any person who disagrees with him and, in this case, hates Texas because most of its population disagrees with him.

It is time that the left wing nuts grew up and learned what we conservatives have known for years -- ALL of America is beautiful and wonderful and not just the left wing nut cities on the east and west coasts.

New York can only hope and pray and wish for a governor even HALF as good as Rick Perry.  Texas has lower taxes, less unemployment, growing tax base, growing businesses, and all New York has is the "same old, same old" political hacks peddling the left-wing nut agenda and driving our state deeper and deeper into the ground.

That idiot hack posing as a comedian is telling Texas to FU all the while New York's Governor and mindless, corrupt legislature is "Fing" us New Yorkers over and over again.

Yep, just like YOUR DEM BUDDIES in Schenectady, the same old political hacks that refuse to lower assessment values despite drastically falling home values, the corruption of stealing from the financially struggling homeowners to give the money to the millionaires, the same corruption such as the city ALLOWING a favored taxpayer paid CEO to have an ILLEGAL STAR exemption.

Are you admitting that Schenectady is experiencing MASSIVE FALLING tax base?

Good real estate prices?   HA, from the mouth of one who knows so little about real estate prices by virtue of the claims that the city is in a renaissance when real estate prices are plummeting beyond belief.

"Caddo Lake currently holds the distinction of being the only natural lake in Texas, and
even that is in some dispute. The lake was artificially dammed in the early 1920s after
oil was discovered in the vicinity. Due to the damming, some believe the lake is
technically no longer natural."

Fulton County NY alone has 44 lakes.

You obviously have never been to Texas.  Texas is definitely NOT a dump.  Economic growth, jobs, great roadsand highways, reasonable real estate prices, tremendous natural beauty and natural resources, and on and on --- not to mention the best professional football and baseball teams.  It is 1000000X better than any other state in the nation.

And Texas after 20 years under George W.Bush's and Rick Perry's leadership is continuing to move forward instead of backwards like New York under Andrew Cuomo.

If it's so wonderful, then why aren't you living there?

I lived in Dallas for a few months while working there, and couldn't wait to get out of that backwards sh*thole and back to NYC.

I am pretty sure that Texas was very happy that you left.

Actually, I was offered a very nice sign on bonus, and relocation benefits if I stayed.

So, you never answered my question, but that's nothing new.

Really?

Your calling Houston 'White racist' when they elect people like Sheila Jackson-Lee?

And from what I've read in the paper, twice as many pediphiles.

I answered your question to the extent that I chose to answer it.  Texas is a great place to live.  Very reasonable real estate rates with very low property taxes.  Other than that, I see no need to say anymore about my personal business to you.

Yeah, I can see where moving would be a hassle, with having to put up with registering, putting that sign on your door, and warning the neighbors and all...

Moving wouldn't be a hassle at all and all I would have to do is fill out a change of address and register to vote.

I bet the real reason that you left Texas is that you got your pansy, left-wing nut a** kicked by some REAL Americans and so then you ran crying home to your mummy.

I'll feed the troll, yes DVOR I've been to Texas, this year in fact for a wedding, and it's horrible, first off it's hot as hell, dirty, the people are shockingly stupid, there are poor people everywhere stuffing their faces with fast food every meal of the day, and my favorite is the billboards. All hundreds of feet high due to no regulations, so you can see them from the burbs, which is really classy   and the content of them is great, church, gun shop, strip club, fast food repeat for miles. NY is far from perfect but compared to Texas, we have a much nicer lifestyle and standard of living.
