Eliot Spitzer (D), "who resigned as governor of New York five years ago amid a prostitution
scandal, is re-entering political life, with a run for the citywide office of comptroller.

I hope he wins.  More evidence of the government cesspool.  Only the most ethical and moral people.

Spitzer was a very effective Attorney General and might have been a great Governor...
I was disappointed that he resigned.

I'm not surprised.  The biggest scumbags make the best politicians in a decaying society.  No wonder why you think Ron Paul was an unsuccessful congressman.

If you consider being re elected as 'successful.. Ronny Paul was mildly successful.
If you base SUCCESS on what he accomplished as a congressman... Ron Paul was a dismal failure.

The guy is a dirt bag who should be behind bars, he used tax payer money for his little fun time trips.

Ahhhhh...That's minor!  Look at all the good he did!

He's not waging a war on woman though.  Treating a woman like a piece of property to be bought and sold for his pleasure.

He supported Obamacare, now his hooker can get free contraceptive, that is good policy for all these scumbag politicians.  He cares!

So let me get this right....

The guy that got kicked out of Congress for sending pictures of his pants down is running for mayor.

The guy that got kicked out of the Governorship for getting caught with his pants down is running for comptroller.

Seems legit.

Neither got kicked out!     Both resigned.

If New York City is stupid enough to elect Spitzer than they deserve what they get.
The only reason it should concern upstate New York is that Cuomo and the robots in the Democratic caucus in the State Legislature want ALL of New York to be like New York City with the taxpayer funded "campaign finance" laws and such.
