I wonder what the board 'haters' would think of this Gallup survey?
In the top 5 are THE MILITARY, THE POLICE and THE PRESIDENCY! My guess is that the board 'haters' would put those three in the BOTTOM 5... Kind of shows ya how 'out of touch' the RP Libertarians actually are.

Only 3 have a favorable opinion and I would bet that would drop to 2 if people weren't concerned about what others might think of them, to me people need to earn my trust or support and not many on that list earned or deserve it.

Gallup yesterday found:
Americans’ views of former president George W. Bush have improved, with 49% now viewing him favorably and 46% unfavorably. That is the first time since 2005 that opinions of him have been more positive than negative.
George W. Bush’s favorable rating is more positive now among all party groups than it was in March 2009, when it dipped to 35% overall. Currently, 84% of Republicans, 46% of independents, and 24% of Democrats have a favorable view of Bush, each up more than 10 points since 2009. However, the more recent improvement in his ratings, a five-point overall uptick since November 2010, has been more apparent among Democrats, whose rating has increased by 10 points since then.

I welcome a diverse opinion on this board. There is little to be gained or learned if we all have the same opinion. Hearing an opposing view, or just a different reason for a similar view is always helpful and informative. You seem to be one of those Black and White people who see everything one way or the other with no room for a gray area in between.
I wouldn't classify most posters on this board as 'HATERS'... even though most disagree with my opinions. The few that are 'haters' don't hide the fact.

I have always sought out a wide diversity of sources for news and opinions -- and unlike a lot of other people who are registered Democrats, I am not afraid to support positions that are different and perhaps more left of center. I am also not afraid to call out members of my party who I believe are either not the best candidates for an office or who when in office have taken a wrong position, done something wrong or are ill-suited to retain that office.

Was I lying about that part or were you just sickened by the truth, you still never commented on the 1st video that was posted showing close to a dozen unarmed citizens being gunned down. What was it that you said... oh yeah "it was just a couple bad apples", tell that to the victims families who will never see their loved ones again because of those "bad apples". I said the same thing there as I said here, trust or support needs to be earned, being part of a group doesn't earn you trust, your actions do.

Their crime is worse than murder because they wear the badge of a govt representative. IMO, one convicted of murder, they then should be sentenced to more time for abusing their power as representatives of our govt.
