No Moore: Obama flubs name of Oklahoma city devastated by tornado, calls it ‘Monroe’

During his visit to the Jersey Shore with New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie Tuesday, President Obama referred to the wrong city in Oklahoma devastated by a tornado last week.

Even though Mr. Obama had just visited the city of Moore, Okla. Sunday and toured the path of destruction the tornado left, in remarks in Asbury Park, New Jersey Tuesday he sent a shout-out to the victims in Monroe, Okla., which is more than 200 miles to the east of Moore.

“When you look out at the beach here, even in the rain it looks good,” he said.

“You can count on the fact that you won’t be alone. Your fellow citizens will be there for you. Just like we’ll be there for folks in Breezy Point and Staten Island, and obviously we’re going to be there for folks in Monroe, Okla.”

Twenty-four people, including seven children, perished in last week’s tornado, which tore through central Oklahoma.

Mr. Obama in his remarks also credited Bruce Springsteen for popularizing the phrase, “Down the shore, everything’s all right,” which the president repeated several times during his brief remarks about the return of vibrant businesses along boardwalks and beachside towns in the state.

The line is from the song, “Jersey Girl,” which Mr. Springsteen made famous but was originally written by Tom Waits in 1980s.

George W. Bush didn't lie -- Saddam Hussein had both chemical and biological weapons at one time BOTH of which are considered Weapons of Mass Destruction.  Saddam Hussein actually used chemical weapons on hisown citizens -- the Kurds.   And there is some suggestion that "Golf War Syndrome" may possibly be linked to Hussein using biological weapons against Coalition Forces.  
Saddam Hussein had told the world that he was developing a nuclear program and even had his own people (even at the highest levels) believing that there was a top secret nuclear program underway.  Bill and Hillary Clinton and the leaders of most other nations as well as intelligence services around the globe -- believed that Saddam Hussein's regime was working on a nuclear program to develop a nuclear weapon.  And even if he was just intending to develop a nuclear power program that still could have enabled his regime to build a much less sophisticated nuclear device -- a "dirty bomb."

So I will proudly stand firm in my belief that George W. Bush had the best interests of our national security at heart EVERY DAY of his presidency.   I will stand firm in my support for George W. Bush because he did NOT have to fake his affection for this country, its traditions and its Constitution like the person who occupies the Oval Office today has to keep straight whether he is with his commie friends lighting up a doobie after a basketball game and "god damming America" or on stage as president having to lip synch the words "God Bless America."

Seems the murder of thousands of innocent men women and children fall pretty low on his list of priorities.  It's been 4+ years, and still no justice.

licensed sales of biological agents, including anthrax, and insecticides, which could be used
in chemical weapons, to Iraq.

When Iraq used chemical weapons against the Kurds in 1987, there was anger in Congress
and the White House. But a memo in 1988 from Assistant Secretary of State Richard W.
Murphy stated that "The U.S.-Iraqi relationship is … important to our long-term political
and economic objectives."

Looks like the media has collected the evidence, now all Holder has to do is prosecute.  What is he waiting for?

I am pretty sure that Obama and Holder could be prosecuted under international law for their gun running operation in Mexico.  

I notice that Box can't actually deny that the extreme leftists are lying about the WMD issue.  Tonko when he spouts his anti-Bush fairy tales -- he expects everyone to applaud him as if they are all trained seals and he just through us a herring.  The truth is his anti-conservative, anti-Republican diatribes are as stinky as a boat load of herring rotting in the sun on a hot day.

New national Gallup poll numbers came out on Wednesday and President Obama’s digits have edged up
by three points since the last tracking poll was taken May 23-25, which showed that Obama was fairly
unscathed even then by a trio of so-called scandals being promoted by the Republican Party.
In fact, according to a report in The Hill, Obama’s numbers are 7 points above what they were before
it came to light the IRS was handling conservative applications differently and the Department of
Justice was investigating AP reporter’s email messages.
Wednesday’s numbers have Obama at 52 percent approval as opposed to 43 percent disapproval of
the way the president is doing his job.
