30 million?

With this administration, you're thinking to small.

It will be 300 million and half of Mexico.

It’s a Loss in Md: 73K Lose Insurance; 60K Enroll on Exchange
April 3, 2014 - 2:08 PM
By Melanie Hunter
Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) (AP Photo/J. Scott Applewhite)
(CNSNews.com) – The head of the Maryland Health Insurance Exchange testified Thursday before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee that only 60,000 people have signed up for Obamacare through the state’s exchange - 13,000 less than the number of individuals reported to lose their insurance due to Obamacare.

“According to our reports, according to AP, press accounts, 73,000 individuals in Maryland were going to lose their insurance because of the Affordable Care Act, and what you’re telling me is your revised goal is approximately the same number – 75,000. So your revised goal of people you’re gonna sign up is: We’re gonna sign up the people who were kicked off of the Affordable Care Act,” Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) said.

A good report by CBS.  Maryland failed when so many other states succeeded.

Nothing in the CBS report of Shadows "73,000 individuals in Maryland were going to lose their insurance
because of the Affordable Care Act"

With no help from the Republicans, President Barack Hussein Obama's job recovery has gotten us back to
before the Bush Economic Meltdown!

So how did Obama succeed?  Did "socialist" Obama just grow Big Government to create those jobs?
Nope:

We have just now climbed out of the hole caused by the Bush Economic Meltdown, and will continue to grow the economy
and jobs.
But beyond that, here is a report from US News & World Report of how ObamaCare will promote
new jobs.

Quoted Text
One of the great tragedies of our employer-based system of health care is that it
traps people in jobs that don’t fit them well. Millions of Americans who would like to start
their own business or freelance have been unable to do so because they had no
cost-effective way to maintain health care coverage during the transition. This phenomenon,
called “job-lock,” keeps people in the wrong job. It holds back economic growth,
and it deprives America of much-needed entrepreneurial energy and innovation.
And it is the cause of great unhappiness and frustration for those affected.

This week, a new report from the Congressional Budget Office shed some light on
the magnitude of job lock, and showed how Obamacare – the Affordable Care Act –
will help address it. The report projected that up to 2.5 million Americans will change
jobs or voluntarily leave the work force, now that Obamacare gives people an affordable
way to get coverage other than through an employer.

The participation statistics clearly show no improvement, in fact they're getting worse..regardless if you choose to ignore it or not...
The report is counting on more people simply changing jobs than leaving the workforce...
If the reverse turns out to be the case, you will DECREASE the percentage of workforce participation, reduce the amount of the people paying income tax and increase the burden of those that are still working...

A couple that I know are in the process of a new 'start up'.  They were held back by the need for one of them to have
a job with health care benefits.  Now one is on ObamaCare and the other is preparing to leave now that
affordable health care is available.
These two will probably be recorded as 'jobs lost' for at least a year till the start up progresses.
At that time they will likely be hiring... it's called "Job Creation", and it would have been impossible
without ObamaCare.

Until I see the participation rate reverse itself and continue to grow, I'm skeptical..
I am not against universal health care, but don't believe things about a net $$ savings, and that people who go to the ER will now to go their DR just because they have coverage... Yes, you wait in an ER, but it's still shorter than waiting for DR's appt...or for the office to open.

The cost associated with an ER visit is much higher than that at a DR's office.

It doesn't matter if they're on Medicaid, does it?
